I don't "get her" either. When my father died, they asked what kind of music my dad liked and what we wanted played during the viewing. My mom said he liked country western music. Shania Twain ain't no country western music IMHO, and it's not what he would've chosen! I guess it's all they had on hand. My dad would've liked the kind of background music you hear playing in Frontiertown at the Magic Kingdom.
When I heard her voice I looked at my mom and exclaimed "who approved this music and who can I get fired for it?" I was just joking about the firing part, but I was none too happy to hear one of her entire CDs playing while I was grieving.
From here on out, she'll be associated with that sad day in my life.
