There is a gift card offer this week at Target for the Ipod, plus the Target Toy book has a 10% off coupon for Ipod purchase...plus another 5% if you have a red card (coupon good thru Nov 27).

According to the ad scan on livingrichwithcoupons.com , it will be a 4-hr. deal that will only be available between 5 PM and 9 PM on Thanksgiving.

Slightly OT , but is it true that the 5th generation has no back camera to take pics with? If that is the case, I may get 4th gen. for DD - I know the front camera is good for face time, but she loves to take pics/video, and if this is not included, the 4th gen. is cheaper and she'll love having either.

Just be aware this for the 16GB, it is not for the 32GB that comes in the different colors.

I just ordered a couple refurbished 32GB dierctly from Apple for $219 each. I didn't see any deals for this one in the TRU ad or the Radio Shack one so I'm not counting on any for BF.

Target has a coupon out for 10% off ipods that expires 11/27. You can combine with any promo they are running. There may be a GC one now but not sure if that was last week.

It has a back camera. Just an FYI the 4th gen cannot be updated to ios7. I don't know if that matters to your dd, it mattered to my dses because some of their apps can't be updated now.

We got the new generation last year from Best Buy with a $50 gift card, I think it was one black friday, we ordered it online and picked it up at the store. Target often has these sales with a gift card as well, so keep your eyes open.

The 5th generation 16 GB does not have the back camera. The 32gb does have camera. I know my girls will want the camera as well. I think I'm going with the refurbish ones on apple site. They put on new case and battery. Also they have 4 colors of cases to choose from.

I looked at the review on CNet and saw this - I knew I had read it somewhere. It's a shame because she really doesn't need the 32 and was hoping to get the 16 for less. I will have to think about the refurb. We will be in a Disney for T-Day , but I will miss Black Fri. , but maybe there will be online deals. I have also gotten a lot of good deals closer to Christmas the last few years (PS3 at a Target , Amazon Gold deals) .
