Hi,
We are travelling in November, staying onsite without a car.
Whilst we are there we would like to purchase an iPad.
Where is the nearest retailer and how much roughly in a taxi would it be or any advice on maybe getting a delivery to the hotel?
We are staying a CBR.

Walmart on Turkey Lake Road is probably closest.

Can't help with taxi as we always have hire car

Where are you staying onsite? You may be better seeing if you can order online and get it delivered t your resort. It will save you a fair amount of cash on taxi fares. It's not cheap using a taxi to get out of Disney property. We used to take a taxi to the Premium Outlet mall in Lake Buena Vista and with tips, it came in between $40-50 for a round trip. Unless, of course, you want to make a day of it and do other things out at the mall/Walmart. I don't think it's worth the cost of cab fare just for one iPad. You'll probably negate any savings in doing so

Your hotel should accept a deliver but I would make sure that it is early on in the holiday.. not near the end.
Just incase delivery and or bell services take a couple of days to pass on package.

I just went to ship a package(snacks) by UPS to CBR. I used the address below. The man there told me that the zip code listed on the address was for a P.O. BOX. He asked me did I want him to override the computer and mail it anyway. I said yes. Has anyone ever used this address and not ever received their package?

We used to stay at POFQ and shipped things there every year - usually several different packages. They let you know by leaving a message on your room phone if there's something there for you, or at check in if it's already arrived

Universal is not a huge distance from mall at millennia which has an Apple Store or a Best Buy over the road if they have discounts.

We actually bought refurbs last year as they're even cheaper and no different to brand new ones if from Apple.

Just a side note, in case you do decide to have anything shipped to your resort. The recommendation is to put your booking reference number next to or below your name on the address label. Some people prefer not to do this. I have done it both with and without and never had any issues, but when I omitted my reference number, I always put in my check in date so that it would be easier to match it to my booking.
