I own at AK kidani. Why can’t I book Jambo at 11m

Tried to book Jambo value studio this morning. System won’t let me even though I own at Kidani. Am I wrong in thinking I have the 11m benefit at Jambo too?
 
That was my understanding too, that Jambo and Kidani were treated as one and the same for owners (unlike, for example, Boulder Ridge and Copper Creek)...
 

How do I deal with this with member services come 9am? I’m going to get shut out of a value studio so this will literally cost me hundreds of dollars in points. I’m livid and want some kind of compensation.
 
Nope. At 8am and after 8am. I’ve booked Jambo dozens of times

ETA: So you weren’t allowed, or it showed unavailable? Those I’m sure you know get walked like crazy.
 
February 8 check in. I have lots of points. This has got to be a glitch.
You might have responded before my edit - did you see an “ineligible to book” or was it “room unavailable”?

Unavailable would not be surprising. Best of luck going forward. I think you and many others were hovering over their enter button at 7:59:59 if your issue is just availability. Frustrating either way.

Wow, let us know what you hear. I’m sure other AKV owners will chime in. I do recall, just after the website update that AKV owners were discussing that the system appeared to separate them as Kidani or Jambo owners. But we know it is one and the same. Did you book a value, just to have a placeholder? I hope you get it squared away.

Thanks. Haven’t booked anything yet. Will call at 9am.
 
I own at Kidani and booked a value 1 bedroom at Jambo today for Feb 8, 2020 check in. So if there is a glitch it is not global. I am pretty sure the value studios were booked up well before today though if it makes you feel any better. (ie, you wouldn’t have gotten the booking even if you had been able to book it with your Kidani contract.) As the walkers walk by, hopefully you can grab it with stalking or the waitlist. Another thought- do you happen to have 2 memberships/UYs? I do, and it will only let me book at 11 mo if I have selected the correct membership in the drop down menu. What did MS say?
 
MS apologised. Said it appears to be a glitch. Happens every now and then. Like the pp said, the studio was not available anyway so nothing they could do. They are working on it and will let me know when it’s fixed. Booked a standard studio instead.
