I Officially Graduated from CR School Today

Well, I officially graduated from Court Reporting school today. We had our cerimony this morning. It's not like a traditional graduations since only a handful of people graduate each quarter...we almost had a record this quarter with 15. At the graduation we all get up one at a time to thank the people that supported us all through school. Every quarter there's at least one person who cries. I was sooooo determined not to cry, that's why I wasn't planning a long speach. I knew the longer I stood up there to talk the more likely I was to start crying. So my stratigey was to get it over with as quick as possible. Unfortunately, as soon as I open my mouth to say, "First I would like to thank my husband" the tears started coming out. Not only did I cry, but I was THE FIRST PERSON TO CRY! It wouldn't have been so bad if someone else had cried before me. So I stood up there and finished the rest of my speech bawling my eyes out! Then the girl that was after me was crying and she blamed it on me because she said I got her started and then it was just all tears from there...it's all my fault.

And tomorrow I leave for Austin to get ready to take the state test on Friday, so if you all are up around 8am (central) send some pixie dust to me in Austin so I can do good on my test
