The mattresses in the newly refuburbished rooms at All Star Music are very comfortable.
I am sorry I do not know who makes them but I was under the impression they are a Sealy brand made for hotels.

If someone knows for sure please pass on the info.

Did you like the decor of the newly refurbished room?
Did your room have the privacy curtain between the vanity and the sleeping area?

I read on this board that someone who stayed at ASMu did not have the privacy curtain. I thought all the newly refurbished rooms had them.

Thanks.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay at All Star Music!

I had a similar experience with the beds at CSR. After our trip a few years ago, I sent an e-message to Disney World asking about the brand of the mattresses. I received a very helpful reply within a couple of days. I took the information to the mattress store and, while they couldn't get the "industrial" version, they showed me what would be the similar mattress in the same brand. I bought it and never looked back. Still love the mattress.

I think I called the resort and they gave me the e-mail address to use. I made sure to include my room number in my e-message just in case they had different mattresses in different rooms.

Good luck in your hunt.

Our bed was heavenly at CSR. Our mattresses at ASMU were awful. They were old, lumpy and killed our backs. I thought we were in a renovated room. The room looked brand new, w/ the bowed shower curtain, new fixtures but the mattresses her horrible. In retrospect we should have asked for a move but we were too busy with everything else. LOL

yes! after much fuss about staying at a value and giving up my beloved POR, i must admit that ASMu is quite lovely. We stayed in Jazz building 9. The decor was nice and i did have a privacy curtain. i did not think that the room was too small, even with the King bed in it. it actually was the perfect size. DBF and I both agreed that we would stay here again in the future :thumbsup2
