...BUT I'VE HAD IT WITH WINTER!

I was born and raised in Northern Minnesota and then lived in Chicago for six years. Have always loved snow and winter so this is practically blasphemy for me. But I'm sick of it! It's so depressing when it gets dark so early. Plus it's been freezing these last few days and the sidewalks are all messy because nobody shovels to the pavement these days (GRRR!!!!) and I'm sick of it. My skin is dry, my lips are chapped, and I think I'm coming down with something!

Send me to Florida or just anywhere WARM!!!

Yes, but, try and remember when it was 90+, so humid it was hard to breathe and you have no air conditioning!

I'm gonna jump right on your bandwagon. I've had enough and it's not even "winter" yet. I think this is the most snow we've had this early on in a long time. It's been snowing for the last 3 weeks.

You know, us too! I don't even think we had a White Christmas last year. We've had quite a bit of snow lately. Last night was the final straw...I went to dinner but never got the memo that there was a BLIZZARD. At one point I couldn't see five feet ahead of me.

Yeah, we havent had a white christmas for awhile Free4Life. Most of the last few years we havent had ANY snow until after the 1st of the year. NOT NOW!!! This is crazy, we have about a foot on the ground, and they are saying that that wind chill is about -20 right now. Im so tired of it. I need to get some shopping done but the idea of going outside is just too much

I hate winter too. I was so bad this year I didn't even buy my 7 yo snow boots yet. I just forgot since my DD has a oair from last year that fit. We're supposed to get snow Friday so well be boot shopping at some point!

We just got back from Florida last night. We drove and on the way down it took us 7 hours just to get out of MI the weather was so bad!! Then on the way back we has periods of snow so bad we couldn't see the road. It seems like the snow will never stop. I want to go back to FL or CA!!!

Sorry, but I like winter. Yes, by mid march I am more then ready to take out the golf clubs, but I do like the season changes. Where in Northern MN are you from?

I hate winter too! My back hurts as soon as it gets cold, but my dh loves it up here in NY, thinks the cold air makes you feel alive, I only feel grumpy!
