I Need Your Prayers Please

HIYA GANG!

I need your prayers please. It's nothing major really. I've just finally decided that the food service industry is not for me any longer! I've been waiting tables on and off for 12 years and although the money can be very good....I'm over it!

I've been with Ruby Tuesday's for 5 years and it's a good company, but I can't do this any longer. I'm looking for a job with direct contact with people. No I don't want to do Walmart, or any type of retail such as that. No I don't want to be stuck behind a counter all day longer answering phones or whatever. I thought working in one of our museums would have been perfect, but I missed out by being one week late looking for the job. I know that when the right job comes along God will present it to me and I'll be on my way. It's just so hard being at Ruby's now and although I have a blast with my associates, on the average, I still hate it there. This may sound strange to some of you, but I have to believe that God has me at Ruby's still for a very good reason. When he's "finished" with me there, it will time to move on. Does that make any sense?

So why do I need prayer? I would just like for my DIS friends to pray that the job I'm looking for and deserve will come when the time is right. A friend told me that maybe I didn't get the job at the museum was because God had something better worked out. I have to believe that, otherwise I go nuts!! If you guys could just say a little prayer for me about a new job and a prayer that I can just be accepting of Ruby's while I'm still there I'll greatly appreciate that. Hey, you know what they say...when two or more come together in His name!

It makes perfect sense to me! His plans are perfect and He will put you where He wants to to be.

Have you considered going into business for yourself? Something like a party planner? That certainly would keep you involved with people!

I know its hard being stuck somewhere when you know theres something else out there. Maybe youre still there to make a connection with someone who knows where your new job is?
