I need your opinions please

Hey guys,

I'm a Disney CM on the International Program at EPCOT but I finish my year in twelve days. I've had a really great year and I was thinking of getting a tattoo to commemorate my year. My favourite Disney character is Peter Pan and I'm considering getting him on my ankle. Just a small black shadow. What do you think of having a character tattoo? Is it too cheesy? Also, has anyone ever had a tattoo on their ankle? How much pain are we talking here?

Any opinions would be appreciated!

Honestly, I think you'll spend more time explaining that black blob on your ankle is Peter Pan than it's worth.

Plus, my PERSONAL opinion, and with no judgement to anyone who has one, is that it is the equivalent of a adult wearing cartoon character clothes. It's cool in Disney, but day to day, not so much.

Ankle isn't that painful; walk in the park? nope, but not bad at all. I have a breast cancer ribbon on my right ankle.

IMHO, if you're an adult, you have the right to make decisions about making permanent alterations to your body. The few tatoos I've gotten have been a mark of life changing events, that I want to commemorate in this special, intimate way. (I also look and otherwise am very conservative). I don't feel that it's affected me negatively in any way. But when I see them, the whole experience is remembered, and why it's special, and how it's changed me.

If your experience is that special to you, why not commemorate it? Just remember, this is forever, and make sure you're happy with that.
