Back in March, the day they announced the opening date of SW:GE we quickly booked a stay at Pop Century for the night before. We did the night before because we wanted to be there early in the morning without having to wake up and drive at 3am (we live about an hour away). We were stupid and only got that night and not the night of the 29th also. So we have to drive home extremely tired after getting up early. For the past 3 months we have been looking online and calling disney to see if they have an extra night available but they do not. They told us to call every week to check so we do. I check the website daily to see if a room pops up. Anyways, does anybody know if there will be more room openings in the future? We are trying to stay at pop as its cheaper than other hotels. They do have some All Star resorts but we have a bad history there... I checked on other websites like Trivago and they are all booked. So please let me know. (Also, if you are staying at pop for those nights and decide to cancel make sure you hit me up lol)

Rooms are all booked. There are no more to be had! Might I suggest you book All Star, a night in a room you aren't quite happy with, is still a place to lay your head when you are extremely tired!! Better than trying to stay awake while driving.

The cheapest price I see besides the All Stars is $228 at Coronado Springs. I'm just looking on Tripadvisor so there might be something cheaper somewhere else.

While I think this is going to be a very popular time and may be hard to get, instead of checking the website daily - Call daily or maybe try to work with a travel agent. Disney is actually not as advanced with their IT systems as most of the national chains of hotels (Hilton, Marriot, etc), and frequently has restrictions on online availability that travel agents or Disney cast members can get around. Personally, I find this annoying and have not made last minute trips for this reason, but if you are dedicated, it may help you find a recently canceled room. If you really, really want to get a room - call daily or even twice daily. I think you have a good chance of getting the room if you are persistent.

If people cancel a vacation package it must be done at 30 days out. Room only, cancellations are either 5 or 7 days prior, or you forfeit $200 for package\first night stay for room only. Might have luck then, but as I stated before, please consider booking something.
