I have to stay awake for the next hour....DD12 is at school and I need to pick her up.

Normally staying awake at noon on a Saturday shouldn't be an issue..... but I've been up for about 22 hours already..... I'm fading fast here!!!

Are they at least getting out at the same time?

Dress warm take a blanket and drive to the school and take a nap for an hour until they come out.

Pretty sure the 14 year old could handle the car. Even if not, you'd stay up worrying!

Ummmm...not my 14yo....the 12yo??? oh yeah...she could handle the car...the truck....the motorcycle.... the mortgage.....

Having camped when it was 16 and having lived in Philly I seriously doubt it is too cold in a car with a blanket for an hour.

I just looked it is in the 30's in philly, plenty warm enough for less than an hour.

Depends who you are talking about..... anything below 70 is too cold for me. :rolleyes1

Sorry, camping is not in my vocabulary :confused3

I camped last year!!!! Was great!!!

Of course sleeping inside the PA convention center may be a little different that what she's talking about.......

Quite different! This was a Mother- son weekend camping trip in a tent, in a primitive site, no electricity etc. Do you know how cold a porta potty is at 6 AM after sleeping all night in a tent! And please explain why the Boy Scouts can't at least sleep until the sun is fully up when it is 16 degrees out!

Actually I do know about the cold porta potties....we were lucky enough to be moved indoors to sleep....but showering, eating, and peeing was done outside still.
This was for the 3 day Breast Cancer walk. and I am gladly doing it again this year :)
