I need to know.. Rice Krispies treats...

Ok... so this is really bothering me... I could barely sleep last night!

Is there an OFFICIAL word on whether or not WDW still sells rice krispies treats in the shape of Mickey's head, on a stick, sometimes with chocolate ears?

I MUST know! LOL

But at Goofy's candy shop it is not a free treat if you are on the ddp.

We got them in March at the Riverside Mill at POR and as a dessert credit at Toy Story Pizza Planet. They were just the plain ones without chocolate.

The ears and chocolate ears are still all over the place. Ubiquitous as always.

The ONLY change is that Goofy's Candy Co. in DTD no longer offers them as a snack credit option for the make your own treat bar thingy. That part sucks. At least they are still around, though. That part is good.

Really? We were told this rumor before going in January and come to find out they were still a snack credit on the ddp. Anyone have official confirmation on this? I hope it's not true, as we used many snack credits on these back in January.

We brought back 15 of them after our trip in June. We had a lot of snack credits left! I made them last a good 3 weeks after the trip. Towards the end they were a little stale though

Just to be clear, we have confirmation that the Make Your Own snacks at Goofy's in DTD are no longer snacks. They're now a base price of $4.50, come with one dip, and are $1.00 for any additional toppings.

The delectable little treats that are mostly plain krispy treats, with just their ears dipped in chocolate, (served on a stick) and sold throughout Disney World, are still a snack credit (as far as we've heard)

Yes, so far only at goofy's are they not on the ddp as a snack credit. Everywhere else they are still on the ddp snack list.

Goofy's is always our first stop after we check in to our hotel and we get our first round of make your own Mickey rice krispy treats! We use quite a few snack credits on those thoughout our trip. I liked to make mine turtle style, with pecans, chocloate chips and caramel drizzle... I dream about them sometimes!

I guess I'll have to make due with the plain ones for a snack credit and maybe try the pretzels. We've made the make your own Mickey rice krispy treats at home and they were good, but not Disney good.

If you read the Goofy's Thread (linked above) pretzels aren't a snack credit anymore either.
