My family will be at Mickey'sNNSHP in October, and I am looking for any suggestions to make the most of it! Should we get in the MK before the party begins? Any suggestions for easy costumes for my son? He hates hats or anything on his head, for that matter, and I'm trying to think of something simple. He's 7. We will be there the first Thursday in October, and I'm not sure how th eweather will be. Thanks!

Hi-
here's a thread with tips for the 2006 MNSSHP:

Plan for the weather to be hot/humid, not sure where you are from but it is pretty warm there at that time of the year.

We are doing pirate t-shirts from zazzle.com, big gold, magnetic earrings for DH & DS, bandannas and black bottoms.

You can get in around 4:30-5. Once the park closes to other guests the people with party wrist bands on will stay in one area of the park, ride rides, eat some dinner.
I think at 7 when it officially starts it will be a big crowd/wait to get into the park if you wait till then.

When we went last time it was hot when the party started and stayed that way all night... My son, 11 will not wear a costume so we are just going to buy matching halloween tshirts and wear them.
I have a feeling the 'hot'costume for this year will be anything 'pirates'
