Contact a local girl scout troop and ask for their help. This kind of collection would be right up their alley. Besides stickers ect that they have to donate imagine how many children ech troop knows that have stuff. Also go into places with a letter of what exactly you are requesting. Our local dunkin donuts is always donating to our school.

One more I thought of our local police have trading card they hand out to kids. You the non emergency number and ask

Check with your local fire department also.....they may have stickers or fire prevention coloring books. I second asking a local girl scout troop or troops. Collecting items like that would make a great service project for them, and there are usually multiple troops that meet at one location (Our church has 2 Daisy troops, 2 Brownie troops, and 1 Juniors troop and all of the girls collaborate on service projects).

Write a letter to your local Walmart, they will usually give between $25-$50 dollars to use in their stores. They also have a program where they select bigger projects, so ask to speak to the person in charge of corporate giving, I think if you look carefully at the bottom of their website you will find links to what they help with. I got $1000 from them for Relay for Life an American cancer Society fund raiser.

Also check with your middle and high school and see if the kids need to do projects for graduation and perhaps some of them could help out .

I don't remember seeing this idea, but do you have a senior center in your area? Sometimes they do crafts and are looking for projects/ideas. If you let them know what you need, they may take you on as a continual project, making little items for your class.
