I need some clarification about Captain's Grille - is it buffet or not? Or both?

As usual the Disney website is very vague about which types of service some restaurants are so while it says CG is a buffet it also lists a menu with prices. So can I order off the menu a la carte and is the food brought to our table? This would be for both breakfast and lunch.
DH will not eat buffets if he doesn't have to. Thanks.

It's been quite awhile since we've been there, but I think breakfast is a buffet but lunch and dinner are table service. We had dinner there about 4 years ago and it was definitely table service.

Breakfast has a buffet option (or can also be a la carte), lunch and dinner are a la carte only.

From Disney's site: Order à la carte morning meals from 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM or dip into the all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast buffet from 7:30 AM – 11:25 AM. After 11:30 AM, sail in for a delicious lunch of New England lobster rolls, fish and chips, sandwiches or our Angus-chuck burger.

We did the breakfast on our last day in June. Husband and kids did the buffet, I ordered al a carte. And didn't get half my meal. Nice waitress, they were just extremely disorganized. Next time - buffet.
