i've already booked our flight to mco from pit sept 30th on airtran. i did it when they had the sale for $79 but it only ran thru oct 4 and we are returning oct 8 so i was waiting in hopes of another sale. that hasn't happened yet and the return flight is $104. now i see southwest has a return flight for $73. i'm mad at myself for not waiting but i was afraid of not grabbing it at the time. has anyone ever flown one airline there and another back??? it looks as though i'll be paying double security fees and facility charges as well by not booking a round trip-- is that right?? help me decide please!!! :confused3

We flew out of Pittsburgh to MCO on Airtran and returned with Southwest with 11 of us in October. We flew down in February round trip with Southwest out of Pit & I believe I still payed the security fees and facility charges both ways anyhow. Since your already booked with Airtran for your flight down, you have to book a one way for the return, so why wouldn't you choose the cheaper flight? By the way, we love Southwest. Go for the cheapest flight if the times fit into your schedule.
