I Need Printer Help

This is very budget related since I don't want to have to buy a new printer. Long story short my PC had crashed (I think). Everything is fixed except my printer (LEXMARK 6200) is no longer downloaded onto my computer. Evertime I turn my computer on I get a pop up box that states new hardware found. When I tried to download it states I need the disk or find the right name in my PC's files. I do not have the disk (actualy I don't know if it came with one originally). If I can't my printer downloaded onto my PC I will have to get a new printer. Can anyone suggest anything?

You must be missing the driver software for the printer. You should be able to go to Lexmark's website and find driver software you can download for your model and install...that should do the trick.

Glad to hear that!

I've had three crashes on my laptop and one on my desktop, so I've had a lot of experience getting things up and running. Perhaps one of the most important things is getting the internet up and available, because in almost all cases if you are missing driver software for a piece of hardware you can download it for free at the company's website.
