I need honest opinions on this....

We live in a community that has a homeowners association. Lately the community has been on an uproar because the new president has really been pushy about building amenities and increasing the dues for something that the majority of people don't want , a petition has been started for those people who don't want it and he's royally ticked that this is being done, he has been attacking and accusing people left and right on the community website message board.
In that message board , he has a direct link under his name that takes you into his personal website , the cover on his site is a picture of himself and the tittle I'm dead sexy . Then the only thing you can get to from there is to view the guestbook or sign it. When you click on sign it there are two questions:

1- What's your breast size?
2- What's your favorite XXX position?

Personally I don't care what the guy's preferences or hobbies are, but I don't think something like this should be directly linked to the community board. What would you do or think?

BTW, I'm not the only one who has seen it, other people have too and we are all grossed out.

Hi Olga! I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your homeowner's association. I think the President is a little out of line, he really shouldn't have that kind of stuff linked to something professional like that. If so many are in an uproar is there anything that can be done to have him removed? There must be some sort of bylaws in regards to conduct, I would think at the very least his conduct is questionable.

I think somebody should tell him to remove that crap. He's supposed to be the President of the Home Owner's Society, not a porn star. He sounds like a sleazy pig too.

Sounds like you really have a pickle on your hands. I don't know what I would do. I would probably write a letter stating that I think having his personal website of that nature linked to the community website is inappropriate. If this guy keeps it up, the next petition circulating may be for his resignation as president. Some people are so weird once they get an ounce of pretend control, the nastiest side seems to emerge. Ultimately, he is only shooting himself in the foot behaving this way and you probably don't have much to worry about.

PS - I would write the letter anonymously at first maybe if he is into personal attacks.

Impeach they guy! Seriously, this fellow has some problems, not the least of which is his supposed web site (porn site?). As the Association president, he should remove the link immediately. He should act in an appropriate manner and stop attacking people on the community website. If he is unable to act like an adult, he should resign.

Actually one of my neighbors signed his guestbook yesterday while online and he removed his picture and made the guestbook private, then he proceeded to send a nasty e-mail to my neighbor to her personal e-mail address, he just doesn't know that we both printed out his website before he removed it and my neighbor printed out the e-mail too. As I said, I don't care his preferences or hobbies , but I don't think this is appropriate for a president to link into a community website.

If he just sent a nasty email to your neighbor, start a petition to remove him from his position. Show the website, emails, etc. as proof for resignation. I don't know if you could actually vote him out this way. Definitely look into what you need to do to get this jerk booted!

Have any media connections? We have one lady that writes for our local newspaper and I know she'd scoop up a story like that. She has an editorial column and has really stirred things up a few times but *shrugging* she does come in handy sometimes. In another small free weekly paper there is a page called Speak Out where you can call in anonymously and leave a small message for free. Sounds like this guy needs a reality check. Too bad no one sent his webpage to his mom or a sister.
