You mentioned baked potatoes. I don't think a lot of WDW restaurants actually have baked potatoes. Most have a smashed or garlic smashed potatoes and no baked potatoes.

I mention it because there was a time in my life when I would eat a baked potato, but not touch a mashed potato (only the truly picky will understand why, even though they are basically the same thing).

With the exception of Victoria & Albert's* just pick out whereever YOU want to eat based on the menu. The nicer sit-downs at WDW will all happily bring your husband a plain grilled steak with baked potato, while you enjoy food that's as fancy and new-wave as you like. My suggestions would be California Grill or Citrico's.

* V&A's would, I'm sure, work with his special request too, but IMO it's a little too pricey to go that route!

Shula's or Yachtsman would be my vote. Both have great steaks. yum yum yum. Have a great trip!!
