I need help with MGM TS

I am looking for suggestions for a TS restaraunt when we are MGM Studios for the day. The past 4 trips we have eaten at 50's Prime Time and I was thinking of something else. We will have a party of 10.

We've always enjoyed the Brown Derby when touring MGM. In fact, we ate there in April and I just made an ADR there for our Aug trip.

The only place in MGM that we eat at is the 50's. If that wasnt available I would go to Cape May in the Beach Club, somewhere at the Board Walk or get into Epcot and hit a country.

With a group your size I would not consider SciFi. You wil not be able to sit together

The only TS at MGM are:
50's Prime Time
Hollywood & Vine
Mama Melrose's
Brown Derby
Sci-Fi

I agree with the PP, don't do Sci-Fi if you all want to sit together.

I would opt for Hollywood & Vine or Brown Derby depending upon your wallet.

We like Mama Melrose, but this year we are doing Spoodles on our MGM day. Taking the boat there from the park as I think it will be way too hot in August to walk (I understand there is not much shade along the way).

Another vote for Spoodles here. I would defintely leave and take the boat and have dinner at Spoodles then head back to MGM after. We have eaten at Prime Time and the Sci-Fi and they were okay. Spoodles was one of our best dinners last time and we booked a 5:00 which is the earliest reservation and it was pretty quick service so we didn't waste a lot of time.

Brown Derby is great for either lunch or dinner. We always eat there when we're at MGM. Don't miss the grapefruit cake for dessert!
