I need help in finding the thread where a woman asks Would you take a newborn to Disney. I couldn't believe it and I would like to see the comments as I left her one. :scared1:

Wow - you didn't beat around the bush on that thread, did you? Were you speaking from experience?:rotfl:

No I would never take a newborn to WDW. I can't imagine ANYONE even thinking about taking a newborn to WDW.

And so your answer to the original question was "no", not are you crazy or can you use the sense the good Lord gave you; just "no".

You may think that newborns need to stay in for how ever long, but most people don't see it that way. Mothers have to grocery shop, shop for clothes, go to the doctor, etc. All of those places have germs. More germs are brought home to babies from their parents working in the public than the child will pick up themselves.

There was really no reason to be so rude about it.

Why so rude in your responses? It never ceases to amaze me how one question on the DIS can turn into a bitter war of words. Are you this hateful off the internet? Perhaps next time a simple "I wouldn't choose to take a newborn to WDW" would suffice.

Well said!

Why is it that so many people think babies and children will break if you even as much as look at them?

I have 5 kids and have taken everyone of the stinkers as NEWBORNS!!!:scared1: Gasp, somone do an intervention!! :scared1::laughing:

Anyway, we had wonderful times. The baby centers are a godsend and if you aren't going to go "commando" you will be just fine. They slept through every dinner and were much better "disney diners" than their toddler counterpoints.

BTW - just read that thread and you were rude, very rude. You should be ashamed and shall you be cursed with screaming kids on the monorail, at dinners and in line for every line.

I see that you left her one and it was a doozey. :sad2: It is possible to give an opinion without lashing out at people who do not share your opinion. I would not take a newborn and the decision would be right for me. You would choose to keep your newborn home and that decision would be appropriate for you. Those folks who gave their reasons for taking newborns out are not wrong, they simply do not agree with you or me and they were way more respectful of your opinion (which they do not agree with) than you were of theirs.
