We have not done breakfast in a long time at WDW. We want to do a sit down breakfast. I need ideas...how about AK Breakfastasaurus (sp?)
I don't really want to do the Crystal Pavillion at MK....

I am going to study the menu site for ideas...but would like to hear what you guys suggest.

We will be staying at The Villas Wilderness Lodge

Breakfastosaurus is one of our favorites. The characters are Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Pluto. The food is good (in our opinion, better than Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's for this meal).

Don't worry if your PS is before the actual park opening, they will meet and escort you through the park if it isn't open yet. By the time you are finished eating and seeing all the characters, the park will be open and you will be at the opposite end from most of the crowd. :cool1:

what about Whispering Canyon? Trails End? or Chef Mickey's?

We really enjoyed the Cape May breakfast on our last trip. Great food, great character interaction.

Really though, I think all of the breakfast options at Disney are very good. I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you decide. :)

Best sit down breakfast = cinderellas. 2nd best = chef mickeys. So far IMHO.
Have also tried Riverside mill. Service great, food ok nothing special - had texas toast - way too sickly and sugary for this french toast lover!. :cool1: i I would love to try Crystal Palace though I love their lunch buffet so much I have not tried breakfast.

We enjoy 1900 Park Fare at the Grand FLoridian. When we were there the characters were Alice, The Mad Hatter, Pooh and Mary Poppins. Food was delicious and character interaction was very good.

Kim looks like we will be at the lodge at the same time. My wife in the process of planning our meals since like you our 90 window comes up in about two weeks. I swear my wife is planning 18 meals for a 6 night stay. (love you honey in case she reads this message)

We love BOMA for breakfast. WE also enjoyed Breakfastausauraus even thought I was nervous after having read some neg. reviews. :)

Chef Mickey's is fun! We also love Kona(no characters) :Pinkbounc , great Tonga toast! Breakfastasaurus (Doanld, Mickey and others) and Crystal Palace(Pooh and friends) are good also! Do you have any characters you really want to see? That would help narrow it down!

We love Kona Cafe and Bomas. Kona is much easier to get to from WLV if you don't have a car.

have not eaten at a ton of places for breakfast around the park, but loved Boma so much i went twice. amazing food, gorgeous atmosphere, plus if you're not staying at AKL it's a great oppourtunity to wander around one of the most beautiful resorts at WDW

We didn't like Breakfastasaurus at all & haven't been back since. (1998)

Artist Point has a nice breakfast right onsite for you. Spoodles is wonderful at breakfast, too. Neither are charcter or buffet, tho.

When you said "sit-down" at first I filtered out buffets. I would recommend Kona. Good stuff. Also, I haven't eaten there, but I have read some negatives about Breakfastosaurus. If you are going for characters and food, I'd try 1900 Park Fare. :earsboy:

I took a breakfast poll here at my house and the results were.....

#1 BOMA (tons and tons of food....the juice is soooooo good) It is nice to walk around the hotel after your meal and see the animals etc.

#2 Kona Cafe (love the Tonga toast...again, take some time to walk around the hotel and see the beauty of the Poly)

#3 Whispering Canyon Cafe (FUN FUN FUN , Great food and so much fun! We love it there.)

Breakfast is our meal ...we love it!! We always eat a good breakfast and then pick throughout the day.

We had a poor experience at Donald's in December. We had a 8:00 PS and were at the toll booth at 7:30. The CM's there would not let anyone in and this was an EE day!

At 8:00 the toll booth opened and we were allowed in. Needless to say we were late. We finally arrived at Donald's at 8:25. We did get in fairly soon afterwards, but when we went to the hot buffet, most of the food was not fresh and it was cold. Our waiterss was not attentive and I astually sent DS to find her to refresh our drinks and she bypassed us many times.

The characters were rushed and spent very little time with each table.

IMO we had much better experiences at Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, Cindy's and BOMA for breakfast. We won't be going back to Donald's anytime soon.

We really enjoyed 1900 Park Fare, Boma's, and Concourse Steakhouse for breakfast.

We also had a bad experience at Donald's Restaurantasaurus in 2001 and won't be returning anytime soon.

Want lots of action and noise in the morning? Chef Mickey's or Whispering Canyon. (I get a headache thinking about it...)

Moderately noisy try 1900 PF, Crystal palace or Restaurantsaurus.

Relaxing breakfast? Spoodles, the Kona, or Boma.

Downright quiet? GF Cafe or the YC Galley would be good choices.

Of all of them, Boma would be my choice for buffet, Kona for a great breakfast, and Restaurantasaurus for a character meal. (I've eaten at all except WC)
