I need a strategy...POP to House of Blues to Cirque

We have tickets for a Saturday performance of Cirque in March '06--6pm show. We'll be staying at Pop. First, how do we get from Pop to DTD...is there a direct bus? Next, how much time do we need to go from Pop to DTD, eat a light dinner at House of Blues, and then make it to Cirque around 5:00 for the pre-show at Cirque? We'll be a group of eight, 6 adults and two kids. We might have 2 vehicles to use, if that would make things easier, but with parking, maybe not? TIA!

Yes, there is a direct bus to DTD from POP.

I would leave POP by 3:00. Get to DTD West Side by 3:30 or so. Get seated at HOB by 4:00. You'll be out of there by 4:45 or so -- plenty of time to walk over to Cirque by 5:00!!

Thanks Rhonda. That was kind of the time-frame I was thinking of, and hoping it would work. Have you eaten at HofB? Can you get "american" items as well? We have some hum-drum eaters...

We've eaten at the HOB before going to see Cirque, I've had their ribs once and a burger. I thought their food was pretty good. Our last visit, we had dinner at 7:00, we had good service and we were done in plenty of time for the second showing of the Cirque.

I hope dinner service at HOB is quicker than lunch. We ordered 2 of the saldas with the steak on top & a side order of sweet potato fries. It took close to forty-five minutes to get it (this was a Monday afternoon around 1:15 with DD being quite empty). Maybe because your dinner will be earlier they will be quicker?
