We have a LM room booked for $1221. I have a cast member who can save us 40% on a Cars suite or another resort, as there are no discounts on a LM room.

I have a 5 year old boy who loves Cars which is why I chose AoA. However, I don't know if paying full price for a LM room is worth it when I could save money on a moderate or even Pop century.

What would you do?

A boy is only five once and may move onto something else in the future; this could be a dream of a lifetime for him.

I have a friend whose son is 2-1/2 and loves Cars; she said she would pay whatever just to see his face at AoA.

Those times don't come back again.

IMO: if your original intent was to book the LM room at AoA to see the Cars section because of your son, then I would book the Cars Suite. We stayed there last year and my kids L O V E D it! they were in awe. Stick with your gut choice. I am sure you will be happy wherever you pick but the cars suite is pretty awesome!

You could book at POP with the discount, then walk across the bridge to AOA as often as you want. You won't get to use their pools, but you can explore the Cars section, eat at their food court, etc.
How does Cars suite w/ discount compare to LM room? If they are close, I'd take the Cars suite. I definitely wouldn't pay rack rate for LM vs a big discount at Pop unless the AOA pool is a huge deal for you.

Yes... this was our only reason for booking AoA.

Personally, I'd go with POP. You could do a lot of really great things with that extra money on the vacation. You can walk over to AOA as often as he wanted. However, my vote would change if this were a rare, or once in a lifetime trip. I am basing my choice on our family who go every year. If it were a once in a liftetime or very rare trip for him...I'd say go all the way with the Cars Suite.

I would do the Cars suite, if the price difference is manageable for you. Or, I would take the Pop Century with a discount and visit AoA often.

Some one can save you 40%? Why are you even bothering to Ask our opinion! :thumbsup2 I would jump on the chance to save 40% and no look back! :rolleyes1

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. My friend is in the college program until August. We go to disney every few years but have always stayed off site. I'm going with the 40% discount if we can swing it. You guys have convinced me. :)

I just looked at some videos of the cars suite and it looks amazing.

Yay!!! I'm off to email her. Thank you so much for your help!
