My 19 month old is at the stage where she insists on feeding herself. The good news is she will eat anything you put in front of her. The bad news is that only half of what she eats makes it to her mouth! This fine at home, but I have no intention of carrying three changes of clothing for each day around WDW, nor do I have any intention of letting her go around all day looking like she rolled in her meal. :rotfl2:

Does anyone have any ideas for a really big bib? It would have to be something I would buy. I do not sew and I am in no way "crafty."

Thanks!

Call me crazy :lmao: and nuts:rotfl2: but if I had to feed my little one on my vacation I just would use some plastic disposable bag.
Make a little hole for here head and afterwards just throw the bag in a bin. No extra washing and no messing.
Maybe you could sticker a Mickey ore Minnie sticker on the bag before you use them in public. It would look a little nicer ;)
Not meaning to offend you of course but think of all the washing you would have to do.

When my kids were babies, I used these awesome bibs that were thick vinyl, and had snaps, that made sort of a tray to catch all of the food - they were great! No food made it to the floor.

how about an art smock? My daughter just picked one up for her niece at Toys R Us for like $1 or $1.99 or something like that.

We used those disposable bibs for Ds when he was around 11 mos. They are pretty large and they have a little pocket at the bottom for catching big pieces. We also used those disposable placemats.
I couldn't find them on their site but, I got them at babies r us.

At toys r us and babies r us, they sell a smock type vinyl bib with sleeves. It is still really small when folded up, but covers babies arms, chest, and torso. I have one that use for our daughter when I really don't want her to get dirty.

The Bumkins vinyl bibs are amazing!

They are soft, fold up small, and waterproof so all you would need to do is a quick bib wipe down and fold it back up and tuck way. They come as standard bibs, cap sleeved, long sleeve, and really long, the also all have pockets at the bottom for catching things.

I have two, picked them up 7 years ago when my 1st was one and they lasted through 3 kids and still look new. Can't go wrong!

Baby Bjorn bibs???

We used them for our quadruplets. Our stroller didn't have a tray, so I would put diced food in the "hopper" and they would eat from that. We put them in the dishwasher everynight.

They don't pack small, but we nested them and used Lysol wipes when out and about. It catches a lot of of stuff that other bibs will miss.

I use these, too, they are Dex Dura Bibs. I've always been able to find them at K-Mart, but Target and WalMart don't carry them here. I've also seen them at Once Upon a Child, but they charge more for them. K-Mart has them for $3.99 each here.

For outings, we normally don't carry these around, but use disposable paper pocket bibs instead. This won't do for you if your child pulls bibs off, though, because they will tear and you can't get them back on again.

I haven't seen these mentioned so I thought I would post I came across these on www.mamabargains.com of course they didn't have the size I needed so I missed out on an awesome deal. However you can buy them directly from their website they are called dilly dally bibbies they are reversible and machine washable.

I always bought cheap solid colored tees from the dollar store or Michaels or someplace like that. I just bought them big so they not only covered her sleeves they also covered most of her shorts too.
