I am driving myself crazy trying to find a new bag to take with me in a few weeks. I keep looking at the baggallini and think it may be the best option but for some reason I just don’t like it. I would prefer a bag that sits on the hip rather than on the bad and I have very sensitive skin so I am worried that the strap that will be on my neck will irritate me especially if it is hot…So tell me why do you love your baggallini or any other bag that you use so I can hurry and make up my mind before I need to have this thing shipped to the resort…

I recently ordered the baggillini, only to find it was way too big for my needs. I don't want to be inconvenienced by a large bag.

I'm returning it as we speak.

I found a smaller bag on ebags by Gravis called Willa, but it is a shoulder bag.

I really like the cross-body bags, but again, many are too big. A matter of personal preference, i guess. :confused3

I should add, I liked everything else about the baggallinni, thought it was made well, had great compartmentalization...just to darn big!

I like to carry a smallish sling bag at DL and I LOVE IT!!!!! It cannot be beat for hands free comfort. :Pinkbounc

I have one from Target that I bought in the luggage accessory department, but they are online at other vendors as well. Here are two from ebags but there are lots of them on their site. If you use the ebags link at mousesavers.com you get a discount :)

How big is big....I anticipate I will carry my cell phone, camera, small wallet, water bottles (my ds and I have the culligan filter type), rain poncho (flat) or I have a very tiny purse size umbrella and maybe my son’s game boy. I am also going to African in 2007 and need a bag to use for the same purposes.

I just ordered this one based on some recommendations over on the Budget Board:

YEP!!! I'm the OP of the thread on the Budget Board. Here's the link to that thread:

I think this bag is going to be nearly PERFECT. Here's a picture of it.

Just ordered 2 one for me and one for someone else in the family, why should I be the only pack mule :rotfl:

Were you able to tell if the strap is long enough to wear across your body?

If I recall, it measures 15 X 11 and opens to width of 4 inches if packed. It just felt like a good airport purse, but I don't carry more than one water to the park. I like to be unencumbered.

I really like the slings that princesstigerlily posted, but again, it's a matter of size for me. I'd get one of those before I would keep the baggallini.

The Gravis Willa is 9.5 by 8.5 and has a very long adjustable strap. I'm tall, so it should work well for me. I won't be carrying much in terms of water, so it might be too small for you.

good luck!
