I must be crazy! I want to take my scrapping with me!

We are going on Vacation Sat, 2 weeks! First week we will be at DIsney then we are headed to my mom's for about a week! I keep looking at my stuff and think....IT will fit! We are driving! Please tell me NO! I have a Crop in Style Jr I thought I could cram full of stuff!
I would have to be really organized by tomorrow! yikes! I would have to match up paper before I leave. I know what photos I would like to work on....Stop! ME! NOW!!!!!!!!!!I have way too much to do to think about this!

Given that you are going to have a week "at mom's" it might be nice to have something to work on. Can you possibly take a variety of papers? Not sure how much you have collected...

I mean if you know you're going to work on a theme - ie: school days could you take any special papers plus an assortment of the color family you wanted to work in just as primaries?

Oh wait, we're supposed to be talking you OUT of this! Stop it, put it away - go close the door to your scrap room and START PACKING underwear!

OK! None of my clothes are packed but I have my scrapping stuff ready! Is that crazy or what! I am really surprised how much I could fit in the JR bag! I am taking one album with me that is top loading so I can store the finished pages in! Now to slip it in the car with out DH seeing.....well actually that isn't a big deal I pack the car! LOL!

Well, hold on there - why not just bring your completed albums to share with mom and maybe some paper to journal the disney part of the trip. It might be a good time to get Mom to do some journaling for you also. This way if your husband finds the stuff, you have a really Good reason for having it with you. Plus, don't you think Mom would love to look at your albums?

I'd love to scrap on vacation but I don't think my family will let me. I tend to scrap alot these days and I am usually up very late. But if you are spending a week at your Mom's go for it. Plus you can always visit the local LSS if you run out of supplies.

I've always wanted to take one of those scrapbooking cruises. But I just can't imagine checking your scrapbooking bag at the airport. I'd probably be nervous the entire trip.

Is your mom into scrapbooks? If so, you could share this time together. If not, you could show her how to get started. Either way, she will probably like to see what you are making. BTW, my DH and I are going to WDW in May, and I plan to work on an abum while we're there! He thinks vacation is mainly for rest, and I will need something to fill all that down time!

Why do you think they make so many carrying cases for scrapbook supplies???!!
