I miss Tim Russert!

As this election season continues, I am really missing Tim Russert. I just wish I could turn on the television and watch him talk with the candidates. He could always cut to the chase in a very respectful way. The politicians knew they had to be prepared when they had to face him. The dialogue was always good. He was every man, starting out in a struggling working class family and fulfilling the American dream, without ever forgetting his roots. How wonderful it would be to have him conducting the political interviews, being able to see anapproach an issue from all sides, hold the politicians feet to the fire, and remain an all around good guy throughout.

I was thinking about Tim Russert yesterday. He would be having a ball with this!!

I will miss his dry-erase board on election night.

I've been thinking the same thing. He really did have a way of getting to the point and explaining things so I got it. He would have been so excited with what's looking to be a very close race.

I was just talking to my sister the other day about him. I miss him as well. I loved how much he loved what he was talking about. He would have had such a great time with this election with his US map color coded and such. He was a great man, and he is definitely missed.

Me too...However, I am enjoying watching his son Luke doing interviews.
