I miss my furbaby

I really miss Cliffy, my cat that was killed last Sunday. He greeted me everyday when I got home from work and it really hit me hard when I got home yesterday. We've lost 6 cats in a year and a half and the other 5 were old and sick and it hurt losing them but we were expecting it. I miss them, too but Cliff was only 11 and super healthy and we thought we'd have him for a lot longer.

I only have 2 now and one was 18 in March.

DS is begging for a new cat but we just can't handle it anymore. It is too hard losing them.

You have my sympathy. I lost my guinea pig Peanut a couple of months ago (he was 7.5--very old for a GP). He used to greet me when I came home every day (they sort of hoot and whistle), and I still swear I hear him in the house sometimes.

It's been 3 months since my puppy died. I'm still not ready for a new furbaby yet. My ds keeps asking when we'll be ready for one, and all I can tell him is it'll be awhile.

I miss my furbaby too...I lost my lab a few weeks ago and it was awlful...then while on vacation my MIL killed my fish....I know it was only a fish but he was a really cool fish. I can't stand anymore pet death. Hugs to you I know you're in pain....I know what you are going thru!

Sorry to hear of your loss. We also experienced the loss of our beloved "kitty" just 3 months ago. The kids were so sad and I really missed the "prrr" when we would enter the house, so.... we brought two male kittens into our home, they are brothers. It was the best thing we could do to heal our heartache.

We named them Tigger and Pooh. Tigger is dark orange and Pooh is a buff color.

When you feel ready for another pet, it will be the right time for you. Take your time. You never forget them, but the pain does ease in time.

I lost a 12-year-old Persian in 1999 and it was over a year before I was ready for a new kitty. I just wish our fuzzy friends could live longer. My current cat, Tucha, is a wonderful cat. She's only 1 1/2 years old, but it's always in the back of my mind that her time with me will be limited.

I know. We lost our 9 week old kitten a week ago yesterday and she is sorely missed, too.

I'm sorry for your loss I know how you feel. A cat I had for 6 years was hit by a car and it will be 2 years next month and it still hurts. I hope you feel better soon.
