I met a Dis Diva's nephew at WDW!

Just got back from my first visit to WDW after many years of DLR. I have a seafood allergy so when I ate at The Wave at The Contemporary for the breakfast buffet, a chef came out to talk to me about what I could eat from the buffet. When he found out I was from California and usually go to DLR, he told me his aunt is on the Dis Boards and goes on the Dis Diva trips. I told him I always wanted to go, but it hasn't worked out so far. I didn't find out who it was, but just though it was neat to have a little connection to the Disneyland side of the Dis Boards even out in Florida.

BTW, he was very nice and helpful.

That's my nephew, Dave! He is wonderful and absolutely loves his job!! Does cooking demos at Food and Wine and the Party of the Senses. I will see him in the next few days since we are at his parents home in New Hampshire. I'll be sure to mention it to him! And come join us on the Diva trip!

Oh neat! I really appreciated him taking the time to meet with me about the food. All the chefs at WDW were wonderful and I'm so thankful for the special care they give to those with food allergies. Tell him I said hi!

I always want to go on a Diva trip but Feb is hard as a teacher. And now we've just spent all our money on the WDW trip... But one of these years!
