As for Airtran Customer Service, they were great to me as well. American treated me like dirt when I had a death in the family a week before our scheduled WDW trip.

Airtran was Awesome!! Understanding and I was really impressed! I did pay more (which is what I was trying to do with AA) but Airtran did waive our change fee and we used our flight credit to go on our DCL cruise last month.

They even gave us free headphones to listen to XMradio inflight. Airtran is now our airline of choice.

It's a good thing Airtran called in the first place to tell you about the change or you would be sitting in the airport for quite awhile!

That is great of Airtran! I'm glad things worked out! We flew home with them for the first time last week and were really happy. I love the XM satellite radio!

So glad Airtran let you change your flight!

We flew JetBlue down to WDW a few weeks ago, and because of rain here in NJ, our flight was delayed from 6:40 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. They offered to let us change our flight for free. I suggested we take the first flight out in the morning, DH said we stick with the 10:30 p.m. flight because at least we'll be there in the morning instead of arriving at 10:30 a.m.

We took the 10:30 p.m. flight and my kids were off for two days and we had to cancel two dinners, including 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella, which I couldn't reschedule for any night during our trip. I was tired too and it took me awhile to catch up, even though I was at Disney!

If I had to do it all again, I would have taken the earlier flight so the kids could have slept on the plane. DH came to agree while we were there.
