We were busy last night and by the time I was going to go to bed, it was 11:50 PM. I was told that reservations for Savi's and Droid could be made at 6 am but I decided to wait until midnight to see what would happen. I managed to get a reservation for two builders at 5:25 pm on the first day that we will be at Hollywood Studios. First, it says how many builders, so I picked two but then at one point it asked who the guests were so I thought I was picking me and DH. I ended up picking me and my youngest son who was the one who really wants to do this. It was supposed to be both of my sons. I sure don't want to build a lightsaber. So then I thought I better go in and try to get one just under my older son's name just in case. That was for 5:05 pm so I figured if they don't let me switch my lightsaber and let DS do it instead, at least he can do it at 5:05 so one right after the other. Then I thought I would check to see what was available for our second day at Hollywood Studios and I managed to get a 6:05 for both boys and that one is correct. FINALLY. So I will likely go back in and cancel the first two and have the boys build their lightsabers on the last day we are there. I am thinking that on our first day we can ride as many rides as we can around the park so that when we go back the second time we can ride any rides we missed and hopefully have more time to just hang around Gallaxy's Edge. So how picky are they if I made the reservation for the wrong person? Just curious in case I mess up again! I am still trying to get one for Droid Depot.

I don't believe they care who builds the saber vs. the guest, really...it's more about who is checking in/paying for it. So if your the named builder, you can check in, but let the kid do the actual build. My oldest daughter took MY build the first time. :)

If you were planning to not stand with them during the build and go do something else, I'm less certain but I don't think it is a problem as long as they are old enough to do on their own. But it's an experience worth recording I think for them.
