I may have to go against my own park bag recommendations after today.

I can't do crossbody either so slings are out for me. I do a combination of things. I have a few skorts that have great zipper pockets that will hold my phone, charger and a small disposable poncho. I get free water in the parks. I do that on days where the possibly of rain is lowish. I also have a fanny pack that I love that will hold the above and a larger WDW poncho https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C2N946GR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1. I can also dangle my water bottle off this with a carabiner. This is my solution on those days when it looks like it might just be lighter afternoon quick showers. I just bought a small waterproof backpack that I will take in Sept. and that will be my go to on the days it looks like there might be gully washers so I can carry a longer rain jacker (goes all the way to mid calf) and carry an umbrella as well. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C1S46DKF?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 I also have a water bottle holder that will hold my water bottle and phone that I take on the trip but don't use that often. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BGS7JGRT?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title I have some small dry bags I can stuff in my backpack or fanny pack to put the wet poncho/rainjacket/umbrella in. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CX8D6N4V?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1. I used to always try to go bagless when security was a pain in the rear but it's easier now and I don't have to worry about my pockets getting dragged down.
