Last summer I took my family to Disneyland. I made all the reservations under their names but used my e-mail so I could keep track of payments and confirmations. Starting about 6 months after our visit Disney seemed seriously determined to get my sister back and has sent approximately 1 code each month. I'm going nuts! I want MY pin code. Ok, I'm done. Thanks for listening to me complain. ;)

I know how you feel NMMickeymom. I get a pin code every year - only not in my name. About 6 years ago I booked a SOLO trip to WDW and at the last minute two people decided they wanted to tag along so I had their names added to the reservation. Sure enough, every year I get between 1-2 discounts with the name of either one of them on it for FREE DINING or something along that line. These people DON'T EVEN APPRECIATE what Disney is all about. It's just another tourist destination for them. So you know they won't be going again.

Same thing happens to me. My mom took her first trip with me and DS. about 6 months later she starts getting pin codes to my email address under her name AND under her email address in her name.

It's too bad that Disney does not understand that I'm the family member that continually convinces her family to go to Disney every chance she can get. :lmao: I keep forwarding the pin codes to my sister with hopes of planting some seeds for another adventure. :cool1:

I'm having a very similar problem...paid for trip with in-laws, kept track of theirs and ours with my e-mail address....have never received a pin code for us but was getting them for my MIL on one address...just yesterday I receive one for her on my e-mail address that I have used for years with Disney...sordid story, isn't it?! :sad2:

Same problem here. It's not that I mind getting the e-mails for my brother but from what I understand, in Disney's system he "owns" that e-mail address and I will never get a pin code even if I qualify.

I have paid for more trips than I care to remember. DH & I go to WDW 4 times a year, and we never get a PIN. I get a PIN in my sister's name to my email address all the time. I paid for her trip 5 years ago, and I was the primary name on the reservation. Can't win. I've tried changing profiles, DH & I each have an email registered, and NADA......No pins.

I see you dig the Pig :rotfl:

OP, I hope that one day you are able to get the Pin to come in your name and that you can enjoy the benefits that were extended to her.

Same here. I have gotten free dining offers in the mail in my niece's and nephew's name. I took them to disney a couple of years ago, their first and only trip. But I have been able to use the code. Seems like disney is trying to get people back that have only been once and was not the primary on the reservation

I took a trip with 5 good friends from high school back in 2003. I booked everything but obviously had to list everyone else's names in the rooms.

Two years ago I got a pin postcard in the mail. I was so excited. Until I saw it was addressed to one of those 5 friends who don't even live at that address! It is so bizarre. :confused3

Have you tried calling to see if any other names are attached to the code? I have been getting PIN codes sent to my email but they are always addressed to my MIL. We had taken her on a trip with us a few years ago. I ignored them thinking I couldn't use it. Last one I received was in March and I called to see if they could change the name. Well, that was a no, but the code was linked to my home address and also had my DS and DH's names attached as well. DD and I were not attached for some reason. They allowed my husband to make the reservation with the PIN code. Worth a try...good luck!
