I love the 70's!!!!

I must have watched "I Love the 80's" over and over again!!
I'm so excited the 70's is on now...and here I am watching them (the one's they've showed so far) over and over again.
I love the comments by Hal Sparks, Mo Rocca, and Michael Ian Black...THEY ARE HYSTERICAL!!!

OMG I tell my DD about the Bay City Rollers all the time- So glad it wasn't just a dream!

Ditto!

I missed last night--were the Bay City Rollers on? As far as I'm concerned, "Saturday Night" was the "roller rink anthem" of 1975.
And yes, Tuesday night had a LOT of sexual content. Thank goodness the kids are back on school sleep mode. Do I want to explain "Deep Throat" to my 11 year old? No thanks.

Right now, I'm rehearsing for "California Suite" by Neil Simon. It takes place in 1977 and our set is going to be so cool! It will be the Beverly Hills Hotel in the 70's and I think it's going to be coral-color walls and shag carpeting.

Our costumes have to be period also. I play the part of the British woman going to the Academy Awards and I'm dressed in a flowing chiffon pastel colored gown. My DH has to wear these flared jeans. I think one of the guys is wearing a leisure suit.

There's a lot of name dropping, like Liza Minnelli, Barbra Streisand, Burt Reynolds, Tatum O'Neal, Glenda Jackson, Faye Dunaway, etc.

Oh, God, this is going to be FUN! :D

Nope, no BCR last night. Land of the Lost was on. Oh how I hated that show when I was a kid. We only watched it when nothing else was on. The RRA was Memory by Barbra Streisand, "couples only".

I did see many more familiar things in the '74-'75 block. Big Wheels. I forgot how we used to grab the brake and make it do a 180. :D. The 8-track!, the leisure suit....

The entire decade's list in on VH1's website, but I refuse to peak. I want to be surprised.

So is 'I Love the 60's' in the works?
