We have another baby on the way and I've been on the search for a new stroller. I have a Graco Quattro travel system so didn't need a huge stroller. I wanted something that folds down small and we can easily get off and on the busses.

We have a Maclaren Triumph and I've never much cared for it. It's soo tippy, not much of a sun shade, basket is tiny, etc. And it's not so easy of a push with my 40 pound 4 yr. old in it. I really felt like I spent $150 for a glorified umbrella stroller.

So I decided to try out the Joovy Kooper. WOW... I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stroller!! :lovestruc It just seems like a much sturdier stroller than the Maclaren. Seat is wider. Sunshade is HUGE! Little mesh pockets for snacks, cups by the seat. Mesh cupholders on back of stroller. Nice size basket. And VERY easy to push with my 4 yr. old in it. In fact I tested my 65 pounds 10 yr. old in it as well and was shocked at how easy it was to push with even her in it. You can hang a bag on the handle and the whole thing doesn't tip over either.... this drove me NUTS about the Maclaren! It folds up easily and only weight a couple more pounds than the Maclaren does.

Oh how I wish I had found this stroller before I spent the money on the Mac!

I have been on the look out for a good stroller for my DD princess:who will be just 4 when we go, if you don't mind me asking :confused3where did you get it and how much?:thumbsup2

They carry it at Babies R Us so we got to try it out there. It's $199 there. But I ordered it on Amazon.com for $129 with free shipping! :thumbsup2

Are the handles adjustable? My DH is quite tall and cannot push a stroller unless we can extend the handles.

i agree!!! i just baught this last week for our upcoming trip to wdw. i have a bumbleride for my 7 month old son and i love it. but, it is WAAAY too bulky and heavy to bring on the plane and to and from the parks. i actually went to look at the maclarens (even though i have already owned 2 and never really cared for them for the same reasons you listed) and i came across the joovy cooper!!! WOW!!! hands down the best stroller i have ever owned! and i have 3 kids so i have owned my share of strollers. and like you even my 4 year old can sit in it with plenty of room. LOVE!LOVE!LOVE! it i would strongly reccamend it to anybody=0) i got it in black, which color did u get???

Glad to find someone else that loves this stroller as much as I do! I too have had sooo many strollers over the years. My kids are far apart in age so I always bought several new strollers for each one. If only I could've found this awesome stroller before my 4th child... I could've saved myself a TON of money!!:thumbsup2

I got the red. I had read a few reports of the black getting really hot so I was afraid to get it. But I'm sure it will be just fine. :)

To the PP that asked about the handles. I don't believe they're adjustable. But my dh is 5 11 and said he much prefers to push this vs. the Maclaren. I'm 5 ft. and it's very comfortable for me too.

:thumbsup2So glad to read this!

We just ordered the Joovy Kooper for our daughter for our upcoming WDW trip on the 15th. She fractured her ankle and needs a stroller. She is 5. We went to Babies R Us and looked at all of the strollers. It was the only one she liked and fit in comfortably. I loved the way it rolled around the store and the sun shade is huge! I also got it in red. Even though my daughter wanted the bright green, lol. It should be in later this week.

Great stroller!

I like that one too. They have it in Lime Green and it's just the cutest. I pushed it around and it did a great job. VERY smooth push. I might have to invest in one of those for my DD who is 4 for our next trip. She's too big for our Mac and Chicco so maybe this one will work.

Hi ladies...I have a 3 1/2 year old and I love my KOOPER. I have one in red for her, and I bought one in Lemontree for my niece for our upcoming trip. I love how easy it is to push and turn!!! THe sunshade is huge (btw, if you unvelcro it from teh back it can rotate), the storage is pretty good. I can fit small shopping bags and my purse in it, or a backpack. My only complaint is the small cup holder for the parent..they are fine for a water bottle, but if you have a cup w/ lid/straw they dont sit up exactly striaght so I am afraid they will spill/leak.

It is made of great material and my daughter loves her 'big girl red stroller'. Anyone concerned about or considering the yellow color...we love it. I was afarid it would be gaudy, but it isnt.

A really high quality stroller..can rave about it enough.

I got both of mine off of ebay brand new fro $159 w free shipping.

i really do love it! i had heard the same thing about the black fabric but the sales person at bbru actually told me she had it in black and never had a problem. so we took it for a test drive at the zoo on saturday and it was nice and sunny outside and it did just fine=0) no hotter then any other stroller. so, i was glad to see it should hold up just fine in Fl. oh, and i LOVED the bright green lol, but i was afraid my kids would destroy it, black is something they really can't destroy=0) best stroller ever! only thing i wish it had like the maclaren was that it locks in place when folded, that latch gets to be a pain. but, i will sacrifice for everything else you get with the kooper! the ride on this thing is second to none, i can literally push it with one finger!!

I went to BRU just yesterday to see the Joovy Kooper, I read all kinds of great reviews online and had all but decided to get one for DS(10mo). I have a Maclaren Volo from DD(4), still in good shape but it's pink...and I wanted one with a few more bells and whistles for the next couple years. Plus DD will need the volo at WDW herself for our trip.

I thought I would love the JK, but totally didn't!! It was much much heavier than the Maclarens and not as easy to close it down. I ended up choosing the Maclaren Quest because it is so light and so so so easy to break down. The JK was also bigger when folded up and I could see it being more of a hassle on and off the busses at WDW.

I was really surprised, I went in planning on the JK, I love the look and all the great features! But I definitely recommend to go and see the JK (or any stroller you are researching!) in person to make sure the features are going to fit what you are looking for :)

We have a Joovy Groove and LOVE it as well. I'll have to check out the Kooper.

Would someone with a Joovy Groove or Kooper mind measuring the seat for me and tell me how wide and deep it is? Everyone seems to list their dimensions differently. We don't have a store close by that I can go look at one. Thanks!
