Thanks for the ideas! These all sound interesting; I’ll have to take a look and see if they’re doable in a day and near each other, or if it’s a logistical nightmare for just one day, lol.I’d get out and take the cable car to the monastery and Big Buddha, take the tram to Victoria Peak for the view, and take the Star Ferry for the view. Maybe check out a street market?
Thanks for the info!! Yeah when I looked at a map, HKDL also seemed liked a good logistical choice because it’s on the same island (?) as the airport, so I assume it’ll be easier to get to/from.Spent 4-5 days poking around Hong Kong pre-Covid and while it was cool I don’t think you’re missing out on any life changing experiences if you just go enjoy HKDL. (HKDL is also easy because it’s closer to the airport than the city proper.) I found HK DL interesting, kinda lame if you’re trying to compare to og DL so don’t do that it’s very different, but since then (early May 2019) there have been additions to the park so it should be better. Mystic Manor is truly unique!
ETA- Frozen land! That’s what they added! And upsized the castle in a massive remodel. @calypso726 I’m having a vague memory you like to hit HKDL when transiting through? Any chance you’ve seen the newer stuff?
Frozen land sounds cool! And I was reading some about mystic manor ride, would definitely go on that. I’m also a sucker for Duffy merch. Other than that, it looks like kind of a small park, but relatively expensive compared to say, Tokyo Disney. I was actually kind of shocked when I looked up the prices!
