Does Amex ever do a bonus for Delta transfers?

I don't even have p2's new CIP in my hands yet, and I already need a 2nd card. Good grief! New furnace, home/auto insurance renewal and property taxes. the CIP isn't even gonna cover the whole furnace. Chase is out of the question for a bit, gotta come up with something different LOL.

Wait, you are making the MSR but DD gets to keep the whole SUB? I guess I never thought about what the cut would be here. Hopefully she spends it on famiy travel 😁

ha! Myself and adult DS will split our SUB carefully based on who spends what % to get it lol

We just have too much organic spend and I have a hard time charging or paying large amounts without a MSR towards a SUB now.

My girls are good and we have always traveled together (on our dime). I figure win-win. They get points for future travel and we get the support points. So far they are accumulating and not using the URs. I figure if we do go on a family trip, their points can help pay for part of it, if needed. But I'm okay if they decided to use them for their own travel as well. As they are both good with money and saving, I'm not worried about them going crazy.

If they were still living at home that would be the dream to be able to consolidate all the points in the household! :D

SWA Cp offer..... seems interesting?
Same as years past. It's good if you don't already have a cp or it's expiring, and you're flying with your companion in January or February. We made use of this offer it last year/earlier this year because cp expired end of December and we weren't going to earn another until early March.

Already reports on r/Amex of loading the dunkin app with your gold card crediting.

For those not familiar, you need to add dd card under the management cards, it's the tab that opens when you select manage card. You can do just the $7 by putting it in other which is what I did since there aren't any around here.

Can also use it for Baskin Robbins that are attached to a dunkin but not known if you can do it at stand alone ones. Not sure they have the ability to read the app code. I'll be keeping an eye on this or trying it myself as it's the only way for me to use it if it works outside of traveling.
Do you have to have a dunkin gift card already loaded in your app in order to “reload” it with your Amex Gold? We are trying to figure out how to start banking the $7 credits.

No there's a way in the scan/pay part to do it but since I already have 2 months worth there I can't remember how I did it. If no one remembers you should be able to Google it, been discussed on reddit.

Got another round of "Spend $100 or more on internet/cell/cable/utilities/insurance/transit/gyms by 10/15, get $15 back" offer on both mine and DH's IHG Premier cards. It was emailed and needed to click link to activate.

Bummed I might not be able to use these this time around. All spend is going towards meeting CIP MSR right now, and I'll be cutting it close as it is.

I got the same email for my Hyatt card.

I got it too on my CFU, but that's the only one between the two of us so far

I'll have another set of utility bills in early October so I'm hoping not to forget to use my offer now. Guess I'll have to put it in my phone ! Mine is on my Hyatt card.

DH, DS22 and I just got back from a Labor Day weekend trip to NYC to watch our team play the Yankees. I just wanted to share a couple of things.

1. I tried using my USBAR PP card at the Pasta House restaurant in Terminal 2 in St Louis (STL) and it wouldn't work. I've emailed PP to see why because according to their website, they are still a qualified location for them (up to 8 visits a year and this would have been my first).

2. We did use the Chase Sapphire lounge in LGA and it is great! DH and I used it in February shortly after they opened. The three of us went Monday (Labor Day) and had to wait about 10 minutes to get in. Once we got in, they showed us to a table and everything was great. We ordered food from the QR code and we got great service.

3. We stayed at the Romer Hell's Kitchen hotel booked through the Chase portal using UR points. I was planning on transferring to Hyatt and staying in one of those, but the only availability by the time we decided to go was hotels with double beds (instead of queens) and/or very tiny rooms. I know the small rooms is typical for NYC, but after reading reviews and the forums at tripadvisor, we decided to go with Romer. It was great! Basically a block from Times Square and parts of the Theater District and a short walk to the southern edge of Central Park. We had two queen beds, plenty of room, and our room was serviced every day. I may be off a bit on the distances because I'm no expert on NYC, but we were very close to lots of things to see.

That's basically it for the credit card talk other than we flew Southwest using our CP for DH's flight and points for mine and DS's.

Hilton is one that I do speculative transfers for, and Flying Blue is another. Both of these programs I use with enough frequency that I am comfortable doing it, but it's a very specific, individual comfort level thing. If I'm doing it speculatively, I usually wait until towards the end of the transfer bonus, just in case I am shifting gears.

Aside from 2 trips to Ireland using Aer Lingus/avios points, I'm very new to international travel (in general) and award bookings. But hearing FB *can* be a decent speculative transfer makes me feel better about me doing it last time there was a bonus (from UR I think). We just booked RDU-CDG-MUC in Prem Economy using some of those points. The redemption wasn't great, but given this was my first time dealing with FB and not being ready to pull the trigger until now (travel in May), I'm okay with the value -- ESPECIALLY because I don't have to position anywhere and am flying direct from my home airport.

As far as Hilton -- do you have a standard location you know you'll use the points for, or do you know based on experience you'll end up using them?
