DH applied for a CIC on 11/9 and got an instant approval. I didn't send a DM to expedite because I'm not in a huge hurry to get the card (just need by the end of the month).

Yesterday they called his phone and left a message from Chase Fraud division. I was expecting that we should receive the card by this weekend or early next week based on past approvals.

Do you think he's going to have to call? Or should I just wait and hope the card shows up on its own?

Watch it in his account. If the card doesn’t show up, it may have gotten returned to Chase. I had the same issue with last CIU. It was 10 days and suddenly his account showed as closed. I messaged to ask why it closed and they said the card was returned to Chase and I need to give them
the correct address. Of course it was the same address as the other 8 Chase cards already in the account so they resent it.

Don’t hesitate to select the seats, we couldn’t get tickets because every ticket I selected was already sold. I kept looking for the right tickets.

Also, you should have your Cap One Card set up for payment on Ticketmaster prior to trying to order.

So bummed - sold out before we got in to buy. poor DD came home from school and was so excited we were in the queue. We were in it about 2 hours and then started seeing reports on Reddit the shows in Boston were already sold out.
We finally got in and there were no seats to buy. Ugh.

Third time was the charm! Tomorrow was the last day for me to get my annual fee back on my Amex Plat. No retention offers available the last two times I chatted with them, weeks ago. Tried again one last time and success! 4K spend, 55K MRs.

I just had a Hyatt offer come up on my CSP, for 15% back (up to $37.50) so I am thinking I need to cancel my current UR points reservation and rebook with cash because it will save me an additional $50. We will lose the breakfast that's included with the stay, but we don't normally eat breakfast anyways so that's not a big deal. By the time all of the offers are applied, I'm looking at $170 for the 1 night stay, plus will earn Hyatt Points.

How fast are the UR points normally returned back to your account when canceling a reservation?

For me they have been put right back in my account…sometimes I have to refresh or log out and back in to see them

How long does it usually take to arrive? I need it before 11/30. Can it be expedited?

Check your SW flight prices! I got 10k pts back pp for one trip in March. And then finally able to complete my Costa Rica flights. I paid about 25k points each way, whereas they have been averaging about 50k. These are March and April flights.

I'm so jealous. There are 2 flights for our return. Both had Anytime for 53k points. Wanna get away opened today for 39k. Problem is it's an 9 am flight and we'll be 3 hours from the airport so I'm hoping for the 1230 flight. Still at 53k.

We ended up with Atlanta and Nashville. Bought 3rd level in Atlanta since I was 20K in line. Was able to grab 2 floor seats in Nashville since I was only 9K in line. Not the best floor seats, but the girls were estastic.

In other news. DD finally got TS Tickets at 5:30 last night. Then she asked if I had any hotel points so they can stay after the concert. OMG - the hotels right next to the Venue (US Bank Stadium in MSP) were going for $700-$1000 a night. Was able to get her a Marriott about 6 blocks away for 30,000 points. So, happy I got that. I'm sure all the hotels will be sold out here soon for those nights.

I booked hotels as soon as they announced the dates knowing that I can always cancel them later. It was a great use of a FN from Hilton since the hotel in Nashville is over $1K a night!! Glad you were able to find a room for her.

Hearing the reports from the presale today makes me sad for all those fans. Makes me wonder how many tickets will be sold on Friday.

On a different note, who is a reputable company for buying/selling DVC contracts?

hahaha, SAME!! Sorry but Taylor is not my jam, I wouldn't pay money to see her. (No offense to those of you that are! Truly a case of "to each their own".) Although I did consider getting tickets to resell, but the hassle and time wasn't worth it. I got Ed Sheeran tix a month or so ago and this whole experience of you guys getting TS tickets makes that experience I had seem like easy as pie!!!

Same for our family and two friends. We will try on Friday but after the past two days I am not too hopeful. I feel the worst for my friend with the teenage daughter--this would have been such a great mother-daughter experience.
