Guardians of the Galaxy was indescribably amazing. I know nothing about the movie franchise, but the ride experience was like nothing I've ever experienced before. After the ride, all we could say was WOW over and over again. DH has some motion sickness (mostly spinning rides) and had no issues with this at all. If you are on the fence about splurging on this ILL$ just do it.

Did you try the virtual queue too? Planning to go for 1 day pre-cruise because DS wants to go on this. Thinking I'll try for both VQ and ILL$ and hopefully get on twice.

Okay for those that have the Chase YouTubeTV offer, do you think it would apply to just paying your bill? My mom has YouTube TV we "steal". I have the offer on 7 cards. If it would work on just paying her bill, I'm happy to prepay it for 7 months, LOL.

For sure for paying the bill. However none of us can find a way to pre-pay ahead.

It should stack.

Got the offer on my biz plat that has the $200 Dell credit. Also have a 10% offer. Will need to be careful to not have the credits be more than I spent, Amex hasn't like that in the past. But you won't have this problem.
Thank you. This will be great for purchasing a new monitor for DS.

We were at WDW at the end of August/beginning of September. At that time it was easy to be successful with the virtual que. We rode the first time via the virtual que and our wait was between 30-45 minutes. The next times I just purchased ILL$ to have a shorter wait. If I only had one day at EP I would definitely do the virtual que and ILL$ to ride it twice. Guardians may have become my favorite attraction.

We were lucky, we were BG 17 and pretty much walked on. Walked outside, took a photopass photo to kill the 5 minutes until our ILL, and walked right back on. I was in heaven LOL.

We were only there for three days, so none of our park ressies were at Epcot. Instead we just hopped there in the afternoon/evenings. So we couldn't take advantage of the VQ. But, the ILL$ did not sell out for a while, so I think you are safe to go for the VQ and then buy the ILL$. I only had one day where the system was glitchy at 7am and yikes is it so stressful. I hope that doesn't happen for you since you only have one day.

We did a SDMT ILL$ scheduled for the afternoon and then after that monorailed over to Epcot to do our Guardians ILL$. It was nice because we are normally coming from world showcase, so that's a hike. But coming from the monorail, Guardians is so much closer to the front of the park.

I don't know about this. I swear my husband gets more offers on his in-a-drawer cards than either of us get on our regular use CFFs. When they did those flash offers end just recently, only his CFU that we haven't used in months got them.
Same, the 20% offers have been in our sock drawer cards.

Thinking of venturing to IHG which many have spoke about
have amex surpass, have had amex hilton for over 20 years), reach diamond yearly just with spend

almost all marriott point used up and not sure I want to go there again

so pros and cons of IHG and if the current SUB are any good

thanks so much

sheree
DH got this card in December 2021, the SUB was only 125,000 at the time. Now I see it is 140,000 for the premier one with the $99 AF. He used the free night for a trip last spring, and we just got back from 4 nights at a Holiday Inn Express in Charlottesville VA (if you book 4 nights with points one is free). It still used a lot of points, it was a home football weekend and Saturday night points were high. We got an upgraded room due to the platinum status the card gives, for that property it was more space I guess. He still has enough pts for at least one night free. The card seems to be a decent deal for the annual free night. I had trouble using the points for a room on short notice in Sept, the only thing that came up was cash+points where I wanted to stay, but when I have time to plan ahead it works out better for me.

I just decided to take advantage of the SUB and had him refer me for a card today. So an extra 10,000 for him and 140,000 for me.

Glad they worked out. If anyone else is looking for some United Club Passes - I have the following that I won't be using. Our United Flights to Europe are in May and these all expire before then and not good with other airlines flights. Message Me and I can email to you.

1 pass Expires November 12, 2022
2 passes Expire February 9, 2023
2 passes Expire March 9, 2023
Thanks for the passes. Very kind of you.
Will pay it forward in our group

Hmm maybe I need more data points lol. The flash deals actually didn't fit the pattern for us either. They were on a sock drawered CIU that only has 2 regular offers on it.

The most we have is 80 something offers on a Hyatt biz that we were throwing a lot of spend on to get to Globalist.

We had the flash deals on 2 of our 14 Chase cards - a CIU I got in July and just finished the MSR on, and DH's IHG card he got in Dec and has barely used since he hit the MSR, except for a few offers here and there.

His most used card is his CSR, which currently has about 60 offers on it. (Nope - actually 82 offers) His CFU gets used a few times a month, it has 58 offers. Barely used Marriott card has 16, mentioned above IHG has 16 also.

The most he has is on a CSR, which gets decent spend in between SUBs. I was hoping there was some setting that could trigger more offers. Maybe if I use offers it will produce more; it's worth trying.

For the Under Armour site, there is a code SAVE30 good through today only on the "outlet" section of the website. The 2 offers combined make for some pretty good deals!
