Yes, they have separate lines for Clear and Pre, the issue is they don't have as many screeners for Clear as they do for Pre. I think there are only 2 for Clear and like 8 for Pre.
As someone with a big problem with Clear's business model I say Good. No reason I should walk up, be fifth in line, ten minutes later 20 people have gone and I'm still fifth in line like what happened to me at MSP this year.

Nice! We’ll be down the street from you at the Park Hyatt in a Gold Coast suite. Although the Presidential suite seems to still be available so I have thought about inquiring to see if we can move there and really impress my friends.

Any dinner recommendations or fun things for 3 ladies to do?
If you’ve never done it before, an architecture river cruise. They are wonderful and so interesting.

Every Marriott hotel I look at says date unavailable when I search for prices with points… are there a ton of restrictions or is this something I can’t look at unless I’m logged into an account? I just am looking for an idea of how many points the hotels I’m interested in cost. 🙂

I can see points without being logged in (had to go to incognito mode to check). I just went to the Marriott site, put in Orlando as a destination, put in Oct 12-15, and hotels came up with point values. Are you looking for a really popular date or a narrow list of hotels?

So many great restaurants! Weather will be turning fall like but still nice. Love the river architecture tour if you haven’t done that before. There are some nice food tours too. I was looking for a festival but haven’t found anything. We’re going to the Sox game Saturday night.

I'm going to Chicago too next year probably to see the orioles lose (they are my team ) waiting for a deal from thrifty traveler the thing that sucks is I noticed next year there are no socks/cubs overlapping the same thing with other neighboring teams I think it's by design, yes you can wait 6 days to catch both teams but not at the same time. Like the cubs play the socks but not back to back at each other stadiums. Same thing with oakland/san fran same thing with nyc.

Are you Ravens fan also? It was a painful loss yesterday.

Currently at ATL. Also skipped the Clear line in favor of the regular TSA line. The waits were about the same but the Clear line was jam-packed into a few lanes while the TSA line was spread out over a lot of lanes and was moving. I also hate having to talk to the Clear person. My daughter who flies a lot says that the Clear line was very useful to her once so I am going to see if I can use a Clear credit that I have to extend her Clear membership.

We arrived pretty early for our flight and I was going to take a tour of a few of the AmEx lounges here but the first one we picked (the one in the T gate) has a self-serve soda machine so I'm not sure DH is going to want to leave. The lounge is very small but not super crowded--there are a handful of empty tables, which is better than my last few lounge experiences, having to circle around and wait for someone to leave.

Thanks for this recommendation. My mother has similar foot issues. We have an upcoming trip to Venice and Rome and I don't think she realizes how uncomfortable the cobblestone will be on her feet after many hours. She is planning on bringing a $4 pair of used sketchers she got at Goodwill. Yes, a woman with multiple foot surgeries is wearing someone else's used shoes, sigh. A few years back I got her a gift card to Allbirds but she just complained that everything was too expensive, though it wasn't costing her anything. :confused3

By the way, for anyone looking for great travel shoes, I absolutely love all our pairs of Allbirds from Treeskippers to the water-repellant Mizzles.

For those that opened the Amex biz checking with the 30000 MR offer, did you have a "business"? They want proof of the business uploaded during the application.

I didn't have to upload anything except my driver's license. I have a sole prop business but its not an LLC or anything else.

I didn't have to provide anything but we have several business cards

I have a biz card, and signed in with that account, but uploaded proof of business is still part of the application.

Required Documents

Depending on your business, the required documents may include an Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization, or Business Name Filling document. A Certificate of Formation will also be accepted. You must submit proof of filling with your state or country.

OK, strange. I had quit the app, but got an email to finish my app. When I did that, I got a popup with the message above, on documents. But when I continued it didn't actually ask me for anything this time and gave me instant approval for the account.

I didn’t have to upload anything, the tracker updated already has the $5k deposit checked off.

You're welcome! She sounds like my mom when it comes to complaining about costs of things.:) I will warn you, those Adidas are not the most comfortable out of the box. I took out the insole and used a better one from a different pair of tennis shoes. Then I also added the Dr. Scholl's Fitness Walking insole. Even then, I couldn't wear them all day.

The only shoes I can wear all day walking is Hokas. I highly recommend you buy her a pair and don't tell her what they cost. That's what I did with my mom, lol. She has had back surgery and has severe neuropathy. She swore Asics were the only shoes she could ever wear. I ordered her 3 pairs of Hokas so she could pick the one she liked the best. She said they are the best shoes she's ever owned. I also recently bought a pair of Skechers Go Run Consistent that are a very good cheaper alternative to the Hokas. They are the only shoes that have come close to the comfort of Hoka.
