Thanks for the reminder, I’m going to buy some Netflix, Amazon & Apple gift cards at Staples with my new CIC.
I bought Hulu GCs at Costco which were already discounted at $90 for $100 plus used CF for additional 5% (next quarter Discover) Loaded $200 in my account. Helped alleviate the irritation I had at Hulu price increase.

Edited to correct error.

I hope this was a different quarter. CF is warehouse now, Discover is warehouse next quarter. But how did you use your discover at costco? I thought you could maybe use it to buy costco gc, but can you use those to buy 3rd party gc?

I recently upgraded a CF to a CSR and I have a question on Priority Pass. When I had a CSR 2 years ago I received a card for Priority Pass. With my new CSR, when I log on it says Priority Pass is activated, but I haven’t received a card: do they still send a separate PP card?

You can use Discover, Mastercard online and Hulu egift is online at Costco for 89.99, member only item.

It's PAYING for AOL we're making fun of, not necessarily the account. (You don't pay, do you 😳). BTW, from experience, stick with Gmail or yahoo or something not tied to your internet provider. I had Comcast as my major email account, all bills, etc. When we moved a mile away, I couldn't keep my phone number or email even though I have Comcast at this house as well. Giant PIA to move and change all emails, bills, etc. I use my name as well, but you don't have to. My secondary email is my first name and professional credentials. If someone else has a similar name, use initials, a middle name or something. I mean my name is super common, but I added numbers to the end.

I'm shocked. Comcast let me keep my account but Porter is just too damn common. But yeah, I'm not paying for AOL. I didn't even know you could

I believe I was sent a card a few years ago, but I always just used the priority pass app when checking in. (A few days ago on this thread I said I don't like apps, but this is one I did use). Very convenient. Try downloading the app and signing up/logging in that way maybe.

Did you enjoy Hawaii? I’m still on the fence about our trip. It sounded like your testing process went pretty smoothly though. Just not sure how I feel about it. Would you go again?
We did enjoy Oahu and we saw a lot of the island but if we were to go back, we would try different islands. With a 1% negativity rate and requiring negative tests, I will say we were disappointed with the limited options. The pool bar at HVV is closed since bars aren’t allowed to be open, 2 of the waterfalls are closed, lots of places doing carry out only. We did have two delicious steak dinners at The Signature in Ala Moana Hotel and BLT in Trump’s hotel. I had noted that it was DS’s birthday and both provided free dessert for him.

if you want to go on the Pearl Harbor Memorial boat ride, you need to get tickets in advance. I tried to get them in the 3 pm day before drop and there must have bots getting there because they went in seconds. We did enjoy Pearl Harbor and especially the Missouri even without the boat ride.

We are used to the FL and Caribbean beaches and we were surprised by how rough the sand and ocean bottom were.

I can't get the app to update with my new number. It still has the PP from my original CSR that I downgraded, so I have to use the card. If I remember correctly I tried emailing them to get it updated but they couldn't do it. I suppose I could make a new login but that's annoying. You should be able to have all of your PP cards on there. Their app and website aren't super useful outside of searchign for lounges.

Not sure if it's running now, but another way to get in is to do a bus city tour. It's a bit over half a day, in that we stopped somewhere for lunch but were done around 2 or 3 maybe. I think the only places we got off the bus were pear harbor and punch bowl. It was nice and the veterans that led the tour at punch bowl were fantastic, I had wished it has been longer.

I would love to do the Aug. trip that goes to Iceland and Norway. I’m sure it will be way too much $$$ by the time it opens to lowly silver bookings.

We were on that cruise in 2018 (and were booked on the canceled 2020 on) and I can't recommend it enough. We booked as silver, late (as in less than a year before departure) and it was totally worth it. I liked the 2020 itinerary better, but the one they are offering now has 2 days in Scotland and that would be really nice. Seriously, it's amazing. I know a few others on here have sailed a similar itinerary, so let us know if you have any questions.

Interesting dp on my offer from Delta for 2500 miles to modify a flight online. I moved dd and I flights from April to October. I got the 2500, didn't think I would get it until I took the flight, but dd's account was also credited 2500 miles. The email said it was a one time targeted offer, and only one bonus would be awarded. She never got that offer in her email, so not sure why she got the miles, but she is thrilled :-)

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback. We’re not going until December, but I appreciate hearing current first hand experiences. I really want to believe travel will continue to improve as this year goes on, but hard to see past the current situation (restrictions/lack of available amenities)

I got a new CSR in December and never received my new PP. I SM'd Chase the week before last and they said they would send a new one. I'm not sure why it wasn't sent automatically like my last one was (mine says it has been activated on the CSR dashboard as well).

Is anyone booking a cruise today? I have a cancelled cruise from August 2020 that I will be moving to the September 4, 2022 Norwegian fjords cruise. Our last cruise was the Alaska cruise in 2019 and was such an amazing family trip, so hoping my daughter and her husband and perhaps our adult son can join us again. Costco is my travel agent holding this cruise and they don't open until 7am pacific time. The opening day rates for this cruise are actually "affordable". Maybe because its the shoulder season. Best date for us since DH's business is busiest in the summer so its hard to plan vacations then.

Tomorrow because we're only Gold. And someone else recommended booking it on the website and transferring to Costco--but that shouldn't be such an issue if you're Platinum.

I'm stumped because we had a FCC from a canceled cruise and I know I can apply it to the new cruise, but it doesn't seem to be associated with my OBB discount.

Since Costco is holding my previous canceled reservation and all of my cruise credit, I need to book with Costco for the new cruise so I can get the 10% on board booking plus the 25% cruise credit in addition to the canceled cruise price. My canceled cruise was only $2000 since it was a 4 night on the fantasy. I thought it would only go towards a deposit for the Norwegian fjord cruise but it should actually cover half of the cruise fare! Pretty stoked about the September pricing for European cruises!

The cruise credit (FCC) should be held by DCL, not Costco. If you login to DCL's website and start making a reservation, you can see the credits when you go to pay. The 10% off you have to call in to get after you book is what I've learned on FB.

Norway sounds lovely--didn't work for us for next year but someday:)

how do you feel? In our state I just qualified for an appt. for Pfizer....(you're much younger than me lol)
I along with other family members have received the Pfizer shot....none of us had any side effects after the 1st shot
After the 2nd shot we all had soreness where the shot was given and various side effects for 24 hrs... My daughter and I had a headache and muscle aches...my SIL had everything chills, fever getting sick.... it he always gets any illness way worse that anyone. DH goes for his second on Wednesday

I need dd to get the Pfizer shot. She doesn't turn 18 until after she starts college so Pfizer is the only one she's eligible for. Was hoping she'd have an appointment by now since she works at Chick Fil A but it seems to be completely random right now in Virginia. Half my co-workers (in their 20s and 30s) have been vaccinated and my employers who are almost 65 haven't:(
