It's going to be a $600 cash fare, so I don't want to have that much money tied up in travel funds if I'm able to rebook. But I do have summer travel plans that I could potentially use the travel funds.
How much of a difference are you expecting between the Anytime and the WGA fare? That is what you're TF would be, if you have travel plans this summer and you know you need to book the trip, I'd book it now before it gets worse.

I'm about to cancel my Christmas trip to Naples. Too much family drama at the moment plus my bathroom remodel starts in two weeks and my older dog isn't doing that well:( I do have a trip in March and a trip in April planned to visit my parents plus dd and I are supposed to go to Europe in May. But I really, really need a vacation.

Just as a data point & timeline since I know a lot of us are applying for Chase biz cards. Applied for a CIU 11.1, got the "we need more time" message, card showed up in my account the next day, actual card arrived 11.13 and today I get the "congratulations" email. :confused3 So Chase systems aren't quite synced!

Congrats on the card! I had that one for a year.

I have a question about SWA travel funds... I know they have their own special rules, just helped my mom book using some of hers, should I be aware of any pitfalls? Like if a flight needs to be changed, etc? thanks

No pitfalls unless you need to cancel the flights. If the funds had different use by dates, the total will go to the latest date to expire.

rec'd 8k fnc email from hilton, clicked through, entered my info, said nope, only for those invited! So I tried Dh who is AU on my card, didn't work either
was going to call today, can't find email!

I could easily do the 8k spend unfortunately.

Letter from Chase and Marriott in my mail today.

I have the old Marriott Premier Plus Business credit card.

They've changed the terms so that you can now earn Gold status with this card, after spending $35,000.

When I saw a letter I thought they were closing it on me since I haven't used it in quite some time. I keep it for the free night which I am evaluating right now.

@Judique - I have both the Shoprite offer and Prisoner offer. Do you know if the Shoprite offer can be used for Disney gift cards? And if you have never tried Prisoner - it is a very good wine. Have to let DH know about this offer.

No, never tried the wine, but maybe I will!

There are few Shoprites around here but one is closer to my daughter's home, about an hour away. And I haven't made it there yet.

I did go to a Shoprite in Aberdeen, Md a couple of years ago but couldn't find any gift cards, so I don't know if it will work or not.

Do you have more than 1 Hilton card? DH got the e-mail for his Surpass, but it was actually targeted for his Aspire.

It also shows up on our Amex Offers under Featured.

The 2 shoprites by me all have signs that gift cards are cash only :sad1:…haven’t attempted to buy with a cc
We like the prisoner wine also

If you cancel, any travel fund you combine will go with the earliest expiration date. If you're short and add cash to the reservation, that will also go with the earliest expiration date if it ends up becoming a travel fund. Travel fund expiration is travel by and not book by (maybe obvious, but I always have to remind myself of this one).
