I use plastiq to pay my auto loan with the credit union no problems

I didn't get the nights credit but I did get the plat welcome points

chase always pulls 2 and it varies each time so it seems they like they just like pulling 2.

will they let you do one ticket per transaction?

I've been able to call some and talk to a chef its worth a try if you can find the actual phone number for each restaurant
Thanks! Do you know of anywhere that lists the actual restaurant numbers?

Can I book a new SW flight on points and then use the free change loophole? A family member procrastinated on booking flights and now they're more expensive...

Nope, when I did DH’s MDD, I actually just let the 2nd one ride and after a couple of days it was approved without any problem. You just need to make sure you apply the following day after the 1st card is approved.
There are mixed DPs on this though. I believe we had somebody on the thread recently who failed at a MDD as a result of letting it ride.

I had a successful trip to Staples today as well. Rack was full of cards. MSR is now done on my CIC. I’ll pop in again later this week to get started on DH’s new CIC. 👍🏻

Great job on finishing the MSR! When I went this am I had a new cashier and he called over another guy and I was so nervous, started babbling about the ad says a limit of 5, while he was clarifying that in this store the limit for gc purchases (now of course the promo limit is a different thing) was $2K. So I don't think this is a very heavily MSed store. Of course, I discover this 6 days before I leave my parents' for (hopefully) good:laughing:.

So I don't recall if this looked like this the last time when we were unsure of an extension on PYB: But a new grocery charge of mine that just posted yesterday shows 71 days left to use PYB... that would be April 30th. This could mean a few things:
  1. PYB is going away April 30th (probably unlikely)
  2. Charges that post prior to 4/30 in eligible categories (as of posting date) will no longer be eligible for PYB on May 1st (this is what seems likely from the evidence) - new categories will come out then and start on 5/1 as well.
  3. Nothing - Chase just hasn't updated their coding yet (possible but I think #2 is more likely)
At this point, until we have more clarity, I am planning to make sure that all of my PYB transactions post safely before 4/30 and that I have all the URs available by then to offset all of those charges.
DoC now reporting what I mentioned here a few weeks back. I’d imagine this info will now make its rounds on the blogs BUT it’s also worth noting that there is nothing new or definitive here. This is just a rehash of what we discussed over a week ago here - that is, until Chase announces something with clarity.

Back in May or June my first trip to a Staples during Covid times I grabbed a few VGC’s and the very friendly cashier informed me they had a $2k/day limit. She actually reached towards the rack and offered to grab me more 😂 I was like “no I’m good.” But hey, now I know! Haha.
