Google pay, the reward from Target has hit my account and I have $21 bucks in it I'd like to get out. Are those of you that did it just connected it to your bank account and transferring out? I can't figure out a way to spend the balance from GP.

I sent it to a friend whose GP is connected to a bank and had her Venmo the money back to me.

Totally off topic- but since we have so many new pup parents, does anyone have a dog car seatbelt that they would recommend? Puggles hates being in his carrier in the car but if it is just he and me, I can’t have him out since he would want to sit on my lap while I try to drive.

I just got a simple one that clicks into your regular seatbelt and hooks to their harness. We don’t use it anymore but it’s ridiculously simple.

Hi all. I was wondering if I could get some advice on which card to pick up next. I'm a newbie at this game, really.

I'm at 2/24 with the Disney Premier and Chase Freedom Unlimited. My husband is 1/24 with the CFU after I referred him. I'm planning to PC the Disney card to the free version this year. I want to rack up a lot of points to facilitate travel, and I have some Adventures by Disney trips I'm (trying to, with Covid...) get off the ground, and I'd like my points to facilitate that. I have a trip scheduled for October if it goes through, otherwise next October, but it isn't a priority to use my points if it would be better off later. Right now we have maybe 6-70000 Chase points. I was thinking I would probably sign up for the Freedom Flex -- I want a Sapphire card at some point, but I'm nervous about spending the $4000 in three months. My expenses are about $1440/month but $670 of that doesn't generally get put on a card. I pay the cards in full every month and I could certainly get to $4000 if I made a payment on my ABD trip, but I usually try to pay those through Disney Gift Cards from Target for the 5% back. Any thoughts?

GOOD MORNING!!!!! I just want you all to know how much i have appreciated all of your help over the last few years. I haven't been on that much recently and only you my friends will understand how thankful i am after, i hope, a short recap. lol I believe my last comment was over the summer 2020. well a lot has changed, my wife's grandfather passed in august who lives and California and then unfortunately her uncle passed in September that lives in south carolina. grand pa died of old age 95 and uncle passed 74 with cancer. (miss them both) plus with just everyday life. times are crazy lol. so now i can say thank you for all of the help because if anyone remembers my family was going to Hawaii for 10 days in march 2020 which got canceled. this left us with a ton of hilton, aa, bonvoy, sw points. so we used them not all of them but some. probably not the best use but it really helped front some of the cost for other things. my wife and kids since travel to SC to help with her aunt every few weeks since school is still virtual and i fly down and back to va. this has been the most we have traveled in a long time and scary through a pandemic. i cant say how nice it was to not spend actual money on travel, especially since we are a single income family.

i look forward to collecting more points and hopefully soon be able to take that Hawaii trip. I am here now to ask for help in doing that. i was lucky to have logged into amex during all of my family stuff to find the platicorn from amex. so i took it. the amex plat is my only card i have gotten in over 8 months. my wife did get the chase unlimited during this time mainly for groceries. so i am 1/24 and she is 2/24. as we move forward i don't have an actual plan for what to do. i think obvious Hawaii, or Caribbean and Disney. I think i just need to get motivated and set a goal. i haven't really thought much about a vacation or credit card stuff for a little while. and i miss it lol. life gets in the way sometimes. looking forward to a much needed break. soon .lol

I will go back and try to read the current posts on this thread. WOW version 4.0 very nice. this group, truly is an amazing group of people. I again can not express how grateful i am for everyone here. the time and dedication you all have to help each other is priceless. i should know cause you all have helped me MANY times.

I use one that goes around the seat belt in the passenger seat and then clips on her harness...she can make it as far as the cup holders in my car but can’t get into my lap...I think my daughter found it on Amazon

Crap, I missed your original post Amex will ACH credit balances to your bank account on file. Even on closed cards. Chat them and the rep can do it, money usually shows up next day. The odd rep will say no ach, just HUCA.

I don’t auto pay but I do schedule mine monthly using my linked Checking account. You don’t have an account linked to make payments?

My golden has a seatbelt that clicks into the seatbelt "holder" and is clipped to her harness. It is short enough that she is not able to move anywhere close to the front plus we also have an orvis dog seat cover that is a good barrier too.

Yes the Fido Rido!! My Frenchie was very happy (i.e., always sleeping) in it. And it kept him safe/secure which was my #1 priority.

Me too. I posted yesterday that I chatted with AMEX and he told me it could take 12 weeks I guess we’ll see if it’s straightened out in March.

I charged Sprint Wireless on Feb 9th and I still have not received any Amex Wireless Credits. Starting to lose patience. Anyone else?

I have Sprint and went through and made charges on 6 different cards on 2/7. Credit finally went through on 2/19. So hopefully for you any time now. Go Amex! They are usually so much better. But that’s the frustration with Amex. When things don’t post not a lot you can do.

My big relief was bonus finally posting on DH’s Plat spend. It has been almost 2 weeks. I was getting worried since a portion of the spend was gift cards bought along with groceries.

Nothing linked. I use my credit union bill pay to send Amex a check every month.

Thanks for the info. I thought there is usually something around Thanksgiving. We leave the weekend of Thanksgiving for Disney so I kind of wanted the phone at least a few weeks before to take advantage of a better camera.
