She should have to report her weekly income from the job she's working. She'll need to read up and see what the requirements for that are.

Will do. Should have a month or so at least before she is back at work. Thanks.

We flew AA biz class (lie flat) in 2018 and I thought it was fine, but then again I've never flown JAL so I can't compare. I think it's also potentially helpful to fly the same carrier when making a layover, just in case something goes wrong like a flight delay. If you were flying a different airline from RIC-JFK (like JB?), I'd imagine AA wouldn't care if that flight made you late for your JFK-HND leg. Hopefully if your RIC-DFW segment on AA were delayed, the flight attendant could at least communicate that to the higher ups, but whether or not that makes a difference I don't really know. It's probably a "it depends" kind of thing.

One thing I've noticed about one-ways with AA, and some other airlines e.g. UA, is that if you try to pay cash for the other leg, those one-ways are insanely priced. Points redemption costs are reasonable but the cash fare is crazy. When we flew back from Costa Rica in November, I used 27500 AA miles to get home...the cash fare for that was $2300. One. way. in. economy. Do you have a plan for the other direction for your Hawaii trip?

Good to know on your previous experience! Yes, it would be AA flights for RIC-DFW as well. Most of the flights have 2-3 hour long layovers, so I think we would be ok regardless. And I know there are multiple RIC-DFW flights everyday too.

We don't have a concrete plan for the other direction of our Hawaii trip, but we're island hopping so we'll be coming back from HNL. Right now it's looking like United, but that's not set in stone for me. There are much better flight options out of HNL then into LIH, so I'll probably just pick whatever I have the best point values laying around for. AA is just above and beyond the best choice for into LIH.

I ordered crunchy peanut butter on accident. Thankfully Mom likes it. It shipped on it's own, tshirt still waiting to be sent. Oh target...

If we get double value for points redemptions I'm gonna be pissed. Just cashed out a bunch via my new Schwab lol.

In general Amex is... uh... in trouble. Yes, that's a family friendly phrase! Q1 revenue down 76% cnbc and let's remember COVID wasn't a thing here until just before halfway into March. Imho people are not going to pay Amex's egregious fees for a bunch of stuff they can't use. No airline lounges, no hotel benefits and no movement from Amex to refund part of the annual fees. That's a screw-up imho. People with these cards know they $$$ in airline fees and/or $$$ in hotel/resort credit- and now we can't use it?! At the same time I suspect a chunk of consumers don't realize their Uber benefit works on Uber Eats because it is specifically marketed as "Uber Rides with Platinum". I would expect Amex to roll that out as an enhanced benefit tbh "Use your Uber benefit on Uber Eats!" lol.
How does the Uber benefit work on UberEats? Do I just register my plat card on UberEats and use it to pay? Or is it more complicated? I'd like to start utilizing this, especially now -- I'm getting kind of sick of cooking every night.

We get a lot of different packages when Target ships stuff. I would guess in a normal shipment we'll get 4-5 packages or more. It seems a little silly and they'll pack things like chips in a bag with cans. That was fun to open from our last order.

I works just like Uber rides. I log in to my Uber account (same one that I would use to order up a ride) and then place an Uber Eats order. You will want to make sure your payment method is set to Uber cash + credit card. That way, it will take the $15 Amex credits out of your Uber cash and charge the remainder, if any, to the credit card you have as your default in the Uber app. I don't actually use my Amex Plat to pay for my Uber rides or Uber Eats. I use my CSR.

Did any of us lose DVC points for 2019 due to this? If so, check your email, they are extending the Mar and June use year points.
I'm hoping they are going to extend Aug UY. Feeling stressed over having to use our banked points by end of July or lose them :(

Sorry...couldn't let this slide...... Q1 EPS was down 76% - that is a huge difference from Q1 Revenue being down 76%, especially as you pointed out, much of the effects of the coronavirus didn't start to hit until mid-March.

Now, Q2 on the other hand, I think everyone will be expecting a big hit to revenues........and it sure won't just be Amex. :sad1:

I have an October use year, currently have points being used in July. Not sure what to think of this new announcement, I'm sure it won't help me at all. My banking deadline is May 31st, but they are sending out info so slowly, will I know by then if it's going to happen? Hoping that this rumor that Monday Florida will make some announcements is true.

I get so irritated when I buy and accidentally open crunchy peanut butter. It’s so wrong.

It is and it's my fault for only looking for natural jif that would ship and forgetting that crunchy exists. Hopefully the grocery store has some though if mom switches now the creamy will last a few weeks.

Blasphemy LOL, I only eat crunchy!

I don't want my sandwich to be crunchy. I like peanuts on their own but I DO NOT want them in my peanut butter anything. Really I don't want nuts in anything. Nuts you eat by themselves not in stuff, blah.

Haha lol, true story. Flying through stuff too fast today! Fixed.

Q2 is going to be a bloodbath unless you're selling delivery pizzas or groceries basically...

Did you have an in-home appraisal or how did they do it?
We had a cash out refi so an in home appraisal was required. The first company the bank hired backed out of the appraisal, but they got another one to come in a week later. A man came in wearing a mask and gloves. He touched nothing. I turned lights on and off for him an opened and closed doors. We stayed at least 6 ft apart at all times. I just want to say (not to get this thread all political) that my county is in lock-down...except when it isn't. It amazes me what qualifies as essential.
