Looking and hoping for some southwest advise on canceling flights. My parents have flights booked end of April. Doesn’t look like they are going to be canceled By southwest. They did change the return flight by 3 hrs and make it a direct instead of nonstop. So I need to cancel. What are my options. I would prefer to get $ back.
As far as I know you will get credits that are extended for use thru next year sometime I believe

mine is going twice a day right now, usually it's once a day.... but I collect Disney mugs and those are handwash only,I learned that the hard way a few years back when I lost a couple of favorites to the dishwasher..... they fade like crazy.

Yes, they fade! I have a few still that are in a high cupboard. You'd never know they had a pattern. Navy blue inside/white on the outside - the good ones from before they got super cheap.
At Hilton Head I bought a new HHead one, and mentioned to the CM that I was afraid it would fade, but they had them marked to $4.99 so I got it anyway. She was a bit arrogant about telling me to 'read the directions inside' and maybe put the paper back in the cup after use, as if it was some holy grail or something. A $5 cup is dishwasher material in my eyes.

Now the bona china cups I bought at the English tea shop in Epcot - they don't go in my dishwasher, but could as far as the pattern is concerned, but for $30 each I don't want them bumped or chipped. I get one each trip and I'm working on the dogs right now. Both my girls love them and use them all the time. Then I hand wash.

I'm really stir crazy. I found dogs on petfinder. Luckily for me the SPCA is closed or I would totally adopt them.
I really want a puppy but my 13 year old dog would have my head.
I contacted a breeder yesterday about a puppy. Our dog is almost 10 and she can be unpredictable with puppies, so I can't bring myself to make a deposit.....yet. The little boy I have my eye on will be available at the end of May. I am not 100% sure that I want 2 dogs with all the traveling that we do, but dd would be home for 4 months to train him so it might be a good time.

The puppy would have my head if I brought one home to mix with the Yorkie from h***!

I'd love a nice dog that I could allow to be around the girls. The Yorkie is Jekyll and hyde - one minute all loving, the next minute snarling. He suffers from anxiety and I spend my life protecting him from himself so I don't have to put him down for biting someone. Just a nip but strangers wouldn't appreciate any kind of nasty.

I have to give him a pill before I take him to the vet and he has to have his grooming done at the vet. Used to be under sedation, now the girl says he's used to her. I don't know about that.

He's 10 years old now. Before him I've always had dogs that were just plain loving - Samoyed, Norwegian elkhound (she was leary of the Yorkie but he loved her) Keeshond, Cocker Spaniel and a Collie long ago.

Niece just got another rescue and that's probably what I'll do in a few years when this one departs.

I have a cat and he misses my dog who passed last summer. The two I found are a bonded pair. I'm thinking who's going to take two HUGE adults.

Last week I rode to Deerfield Beach, so this week I decided to ride to Delray Beach. Not as scenic because there are homes lining the beach side of the A1A and once in Delray Beach the berm is too high to see the beach. I managed to get a decent pic at one of the public openings. The ride today was very challenging due to the wind (good practice for my Backroads trip I kept telling myself). Ride was only 25 miles but it felt like 50.

What type of puppy are you looking at? DS wants a pug something terrible.

A coton, which is what we have. I would ideally like a cavapoo, but finding the right dog in Florida that we can drive to pick up is no easy feat. We found a breeder who lives about a 3 hour drive north and she had a litter at the end of March. I was thinking about a medium sized dog (golden doodle or Aussiepoo), but I have to be able to bring the dogs to Florida in the cabin, so the ideal size is 10-12 lbs.

We looked at cotons but ended up with a havanese. Havaneses were/are easier to find and the coton breeder I spoke with (in MD) was super intense--wanted to do home visits at any time.

My havanese is ginormous--18 pounds. But I'm not sure after having a dog her size I'd want to go back to a itty bity one. I love cavaliers but the shedding thing bugs me. And our work cavaliers are slightly nuts but that may be because they have no rules!

Can I ask where? I'd like to do some shopping but can't think of anything I want/need that doesn't require my trying things on. I have bought some giftcards so eventually I'll make a trip to the mall to use those. Even if it's just looking on the website and not buying that's be kinda fun too.

It was kind of a hodgepodge. I’ve been wanting to support my favorite local downtown Boise boutique. I was first thinking gift card and might still do that if the store closures go on a lot longer, but it also occurred to me that a gift card could be risky if they go under. But on their Instagram feed, I saw a super cute Rails sweatshirt and lounge pants set. Loungewear seems to be all that is catching my eye right now given WFH/sheltering in place, lol. I was able to order thru Insta messaging and they are sending to my house. I’m pretty true to size, but I can return it at some point if it doesn’t fit or I don’t like it. I also bought a bag from ShortyLove (the Wonder in camo), a couple of products from Primally Pure and the most random purchase was a pair a camo (there seems to be a theme here) ankle sweats from a site I saw on FB. I don’t usually do that (buy off of FB), but they were inexpensive and I was kind of wallowing yesterday until I made the purchases and got out for a long walk. Rothy‘s is releasing sandals soon, so those might be next....

I had a June SWA flight that went from a nonstop from BOI to SJC, to a one stop going backwards through Denver. I called and explained that the change didn’t work for us and that I already had so many travel funds that I’d really appreciate a refund. They did the refund without any pushback, so it’s probably worth a call.

When I drive home from Disney I almost always get over on A1A near Ormond Beach and drive up at least to Flagler just so I can get near the beach. Last time it was extremely windy and they were doing road work, and I waited too long to find a pull off which are getting scarcer and scarcer in the parts between Daytona and St Augustine. I love the sand and the rough waves in the fall and winter!

Those are adorable! I have never heard of them before. If DS ever gets a dog, it will definitely be small.

Do you remember the breeder in MD?

We stayed at Deerfield Beach last July (when we were there for my dh’s training in boca). We stayed at the Wyndham right on the pier. It was so lovely!! Very busy though but we just loved the area. We drove to Delray too since that was a place we’d considered staying. That whole area was so pretty! I’d love to go back when it is not so hot and not so busy.

They are amazing dogs -- very lovable, not high energy, don't shed and have no know health defects. We've had our baby for 10 years and other than shots and check-ups, she has never had any reason to see the vet! Our girl is bigger than average at 12 lbs!
