The office is super cringy at first but it really does get better

The Office is one of the few shows I can watch a million times and never get tired of it...... That + IT Crowd+ Parks and Rec... I'm rewatching all the old Cold Case episodes on Roku Channel...I love roku channel- with a few 30 Rock episodes thrown in b/c that's one more show I can watch and rewatch.

The red dot under "Richmond" is Henrico. I believe the majority of the cases are related to the nursing home.

Ok....I'm watching a flight for someone, departing cross country on april 15-21. From tristate area to opposite coast- AA..... this flight shows online as still going....last week it had dropped to like $200 rt, now it's $700-1100 rt..... what is going on? Is this an indication of canceling?

With this Stay at Home order, I'm thinking I may need to get into one of theses apps.
I guess some of the choices are PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, others? I have no experience with any of these.

Venmo is pretty ubiquitous and is very easy to use. They are owned by Paypal, so your trust in Venmo with your financial data would go as far as your trust with Paypal, I suppose. I've used it for years without issue though.

So in CC related news, my house needs to be painted and my deck needs to be re-stained (can't believe I've been in this house seven years--it really has been my fresh start). I hate spending money now but I'm also not a big fan of deferred maintenance. I just got a call from a company I have used in the past about a special they are running because work is slow so I'm getting an estimate. The one thing I like about them is I have terrible hardboard siding (it's what they used hear before hardiplank and it's one small step up from cardboard) and they can replace that if they find bad pieces whereas a regular painter wouldn't be able to. And they take credit cards.

I also need to take four cedar trees down and have the stumps ground, but that may need to wait. They're not going to fall down. Just a bit unsightly.

I’ve used PayPal for years and years at this point, from way back in the day when I used to eBay as a side hustle and it gets the job done. I commission a lot of fan art as well and it’s the preferred method of payment among Fandom it seems, since it’s so easy to set up invoices.

I’ve started using Zelle a lot recently though, since I bank with Chase and so do several coworkers. We rotate whoever on our team is in charge of putting together birthday stuff and when the time comes to collect money for cake etc it’s so much easier with Zelle. You can’t go wrong with either but ime PayPal is good to have just because it’s so old and ubiquitous.

I hated the office the first time I watched it. I’ve never really liked the first season though honestly.

That first season was awful (we watched all 6 episodes). The second season so far is... still pretty awful. Not sure how many episodes in we have gotten.

I love Venmo. My ex and I use it and I use it with siblings when we chip in for presents for my parents.

I think the cool kids use Venmo. At least that is what the college age kiddos seem to use. I have used it several times and it is easy. To send money is pretty instantaneous but to transfer money into your bank it can take a few days. I just recently used Zelle to transfer money to my DFIL. I am not sure if it was because it was Chase to Chase but the money was moved from my account to his account instantly. It was a little strange. lol The Zelle app didn't ask about bank info or anything. I just put in his name and email address and off it went. We did set up the Zelle with his bank right before we did it but I was still amazed on how fast it went.

I see it thanks. I was looking more north/west. My grandmother is in a nursing home in Hanover. At 97 years old, I don't worry so much about her passing away (if this doesn't take her, something else will at her age), but more about the fact that we can't visit. I don't want her to feel abandoned. She has alzheimers and has no idea what's going on.

I can't remember if you have NFCU or not. But if you do, you can transfer money to other members from the transfer option. And there may be other ways in there also. Seems to me there are. Checking my account yes you can send money to other accounts at other banks.

Free cedar mulch! Worth it's weight in gold to a gardener.

I think it depends on what the person you are paying already has. I have Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, and Cash app. The speech therapist takes Venmo, my best friend likes Cash app, work friends we use Paypal.

I wanna know too, because I'm in a different city than a $3k check

The way I've done it in the past is have it put in a bank that I've already set up the ability to push/pull money to/from with another bank of mine. There is a few days delay on that (plus the time to set it up, if not already done).
