Not yet.. we’re working on the surpass upgrade to get the 150,000 points.. should be done that in a few days and when points post will do the Aspire upgrade.

So awesome. I want to get into the Hilton upgrade game too. Gotta wait until cards start dropping off in September. Will eventually need 3 slots.

If there is no Plastiq incentive like a reduced rate or FFDs then it’s best to use towards a MSR with the 2.5% fee.

1 day for my DH.. he had the no fee.. one year anniversary he got the surpass upgrade then a day later he got the Aspire upgrade.

Did he take the Aspire upgrade? Curious if you can get both upgrade bonuses one after the other like that.

I was wondering the same... if he took both offers. I saw your answer. That’s fantastic.

I was thinking about this today. Wondering if I eventually downgrade DH’s Aspire to the no fee card would he get upgrade offers to the Surpass only. Now I kind of have hope he could upgrade his way back to another Aspire

Back from our 5 nights in Orlando! We had a great time! I’m worn out now, but I’ve written up a couple reviews of Busch Gardens Tampa, Villains After Hours, and our stay at the Sheraton Vistana Villages that I’ll share tomorrow!

This is true but spitting rain and 25 mph wind isn’t the best. It was like 85 recently. It’s hard to switch back and forth

The weather Friday was AWFUL. We did universal and Villains After Hours and we were freezing. I’ve never seen wind down there like that other than a hurricane!

Disney springs is crazy today

It’s been crazy all week. We went Wednesday and Saturday night and both times it was packed.

What time did you ride it? We waited two and a half hours they morning before they closed the ride and kicked everyone out of line. Fortunately they gave us an express pass for it and we got to ride it later after it was closed for about 3 hours.

Not sure exactly. We got to IOA around 10:30-10:45ish. App when we arrived said 45 min, by the time we got in line it said 60, was probably a bit longer. We were definitely off by noon. Had to sit on the ride for a bit before we could get off, all the cars were backed up waiting to unload. Perhaps that is when they closed it.

Ha, we got in line not long after you.11:23 to be exact. We were on Gringotts when we saw it opened and we hustled over there. It was an hour by the time we got there and quickly jumped to 75 minutes but we just decided to go for it. We made it all the way inside before they shut it down. We probably saw you go by on the ride !

I think it actually got colder in Orlando than it did here. We usually are a couple degrees or so warmer. I had two jackets and pants on the other night on our walk.

Lots of people had medals today at Disney springs too. We also noticed tons of people from south America

We are supposedly headed to Italy this summer, but with the news yesterday when will have to wait and see. We purchased the trip insurance through Delta Vacations when we purchased the flights back in September. I spent some time looking and think we definitely want to buy medical and evacuation insurance. I am booking hotels with a cancellation policy of a few days so I think we are good there. Is there anything else we need to look at for the insurance?

We are supposed to be heading to Europe this fall & hoping that it will be okay then. We already cancelled our upcoming trip to China. The hotel was refundable & JAL just gave us the miles back, no questions asked. We had travel insurance but didn't have to try to use it.

I read over the policy several times & I am still confused as to whether or not it would pay out a claim due to pandemic, though I have learned that I will be covered 100% if I lose both a hand AND a foot, but only 50% if I only lose one or the other

I still don't get amex. I still got the popup on the surpass. But got approved on the 75k Plat offer, so yay but I don't get it.

I got my temp number I wanted the statement credit. Also, is this one where I don't want to enroll in paperless and wait for them to make me an offer?

91 days from today I'm trying for that Hilton again, because I would still like the points though they aren't as needed now, but to see what happens. They make no sense to me at all.

Oh and I had to unfrezze transunion to get cardmatch to find me and all I got was a bunch of cap 1 offers and it went down in number in incognito. Didn't change with my last address.

We’ll do pictures at POR and POFQ and just hang out for most of the day there to relax and take advantage of staying onsite. Then later I would like to get some pictures at YC in the sand.

I made an ADR at beaches and cream for 6:35 pm but Dh is thinking he’d rather eat at POR. We’ve eaten at beaches and cream twice so it wouldn’t be the end of the world but I’ve never eaten at boatwright’s. Have any of you been there? I’m thinking about keeping the beaches and cream because I was looking forward to a No Way Jose and then we could go back and have dinner at POR unless some of you have had bad experiences at that restaurant.

I have never eaten at Boatwright's, but I am VERY pro-Beaches & Cream

It could be nice experiencing it after the refurbishment! If you want to get really wild, you can even get a No Way Jose from the walkup window after your pictures (or for your pictures, your choice!) and then get dinner somewhere else later!
