Me, too. Norway finally took a very strong stance, and DD worries they will fix it there and then not let her in because of where she lives. She's crushed that she can't finish her research. Of course, we talked about the big picture and how we have to protect everyone.

Eastern PA is closing their liquor stores Tuesday. I would hate to be a worker there Monday, would think they may get a little crazy. Though apparently you can order online. Did not know that was a thing with alcohol. Unclear on why they are only closing Eastern Pa and not the rest of PA.

Well I dropped off for a bit again. Between work, voluntarily cancelling my WDW trip HOURS before WDW officially closed on Thursday, and waiting on hold for multiple hours to get refunds/adjustments over the past two days, I was drained! Hopefully I have a lot more uninterrupted DIS time now!

At my house that means dog food, dog treats and diet dr pepper. Y'all don't want to know how much diet dr pepper I have. My excuse is I didn't have any for 3 weeks and am trying to catch up!

watch those expiration dates on that diet stuff. It doesn’t taste so good when expired and that diet stuff always has short expiration dates. The company that was filling our coke machine won’t put diet in it because it expires before we get it used.

oh with my consumption expiration is NEVER an issue in the summer sometimes it tastes odd but I've always attributed that to being somewhere in the heat too long

I completely understand!!! I am the same with Coke Zero! I stock up when it is on sale and store it by date. My earliest expiration is 4/13. So far so good

On a fun and completely useless note, I picked up a set of these for $25 at the outlet mall today. I have no use for them but I could not help it b they had the Dutch oven half off too but that I could not justify.

I should have bought it yesterday (yes, I've been to Costco twice in two days) but didn't have freezer space.

Snowbirds don't typically leave where my parents live until May. My parents leave around Memorial Day. No way they're going to Northern Michigan in April.

Lack of beds is a very real fear everywhere IMO. And that's not doom and gloom.

What part of the UP? I have family that ignores me in the Gladstone/Escanaba area. But I think they started wintering in AZ. Don't know, I seem to finally be off the Xmas card list, woo!

Since I ended up getting a Minnie Kate Spade wallet at the outlet today, I ended up ordering a pair of flats. Hoping I like them when I get them as they are silver, also Kate Spade but was more that they were only 55.20 and more in my price range especially after the credit. And the only size available was my size so I took that as a sign. Anyway, I'd been planning on getting a new KS wallet if I didn't find one at the outlet since I didn't get lucky at Marshall's a couple weeks ago.

I've got bourbon, rye, apple brandy, cognac, butterscotch schnapps (for some reason), tequila, light rum, dark rum, overproof rum, gin, a few liqueurs, amaro, green chartreuse... wait, no cream liqueur. How am I gonna get through this without a Nutty Irishman? Guess I'm going back out tomorrow...

That's what I drink when I travel...and internationally it's usually coca-cola light which is slightly different (and not as tasty imho) as diet coke. My beloved Edinburgh actually had diet dr pepper in one of the Tesco's so cementing it as my true city love even more!

Things are getting a little too close for comfort right now. Another positive case popped up in our county. And my mom just told me they had an employee leave her work on Thursday sick, and he called in Friday and told the manager he was in the hospital with the flu. I sure hope it is just the flu! My mom said she spoke to that employee the day prior, and clocked out right after him at the time clock, so probably touched the same surface. The only reason I’m having a small freak out is because I was then with my mom on Thursday night, and Friday morning my DH had surgery. So he has a compromised immune system right now and definitely needs to be extra careful the next few weeks. Ughhhh can we just put a reset on this year

Thank you so much. She worked so hard to get this fellowship and it just hurts. I hope she will get home ok, we will get through this, and she will be able to return at some point. I feel badly for so many of these kids - it's just hard to believe this is even happening all over the world.
